It’s happy Saturday and time for bestie date! This cafe had been quite famous and we came here at around 3pm and there was about 8 people waiting in front of us. It was an extremely hot day before the arrival of typhoon and we sweated a lot while waiting for 20-25 minutes under the sun.There were only 4 little tables inside the cafe and 5 tables for outdoor seating. We ordered an open-faced toast with 3 toppings ($80) with fig & walnet bread and beetroot hummus spread. We chose poached eggs, tomato with feta cheese and avocado (+$15) as toppings. It really looked so attractive! There were so many tomatoes and tasted great! The poached egg was nice too!
We also ordered the weekend exclusive pancake ($98), it looked fulfilling! The pancake was not like the ordinary one but in thicker texture with rich and healthy ingredients. It was chewy and full! It was served with ice cream scoop and banana slices.
For drinks, I had the iced Matcha Latte ($50). It was not too sweet but not the green tea flavour was not that strong. As the weather was too hot the foam on top collapsed when it arrived at my table. My friend ordered peppermint tea ($45) which was a bit bitter without sugar.
