After waiting for about 20 mins, we finally got a table. However, we had to sit with another foreign couple, which was a bit awkward because they looked uncomfortable. This Michelin star place was modern, tidy and clean looking. We got to sit at a booth, which was kinda nice because I felt less exposed.
Service:
The host handing out tickets was quite rude, since there were a lot of tourists waiting, she was only yelling out the numbers in Chinese. When some Korean tourists approached her and said something to each other in Korean, she imitated them and said "just hand me the ticket" in Cantonese. I think her attitude could improve. Since we shared a table, the servers got our orders mixed up with the other couple, so there was some confusion at times.
Taste & Value:
What did I get? Of course their most well known Wonton Noodles (Small $38). I knew the portion was gonna be small, but not this small! Small had 4 wontons and Large had 6 for $54. The size of the wonton was about half the size of regular ones. They were small, but tasty. I guess it is the freshness and quality of ingredients that set theirs apart from the others.
Let me continue trying these traditional places to see where I think has the best Wonton Noodles.
