Knowing that Toretore Hamayaki was famous for their fresh seafood and since we have not visited for few years, we planned to go there for dinner tonight. It was located at Macau Yat Yuen Centre, just beside Sogo Causeway Bay.  They specialized in grilled seafood, as well as sashimi, sushi, skewers, salad, rice or udon, drinks and desserts etc. We ordered a small glass bottle of sake, Suzukagawa Junmai Daiginjo to share. Oyster was fat in size and smooth, very juicy. Sliced lemon was provided to squeeze onto it, bringing out the freshness.

Snow crab leg was grilled till soft and sweet. We need not dip onto any sauce so as to retain the freshness.

King prawn was huge in size and grilled till slightly charred in taste. It was chewy and juicy too.

We upgraded our scallop to the higher grade and requested to serve in clear white wine and butter. Clear white wine was sweet and clear in taste, able to taste the freshness of the scallop. It was chewy as well. When we tasted the butter version, it was very flavourful and buttery.

Okinawa style salad - The chef was very generous with the serving of the sashimi, consisting of salmon, tuna and octopus etc. Salad was crunchy and fresh and those sashimi were chewy and smooth, making it very appetizing.

Grilled ox tongue with garlic - It was grilled till tender and juicy, with the garlic making it flavourful and tasty.

Mango sorbet was very refreshing, sweet and sour in taste, with strong mango taste. It was good to have after a heavy meal.
