We visit Japan quite often and our palette is quite spoiled when it comes to sushi. Fukusuke is our way of satisfying our craving without breaking the bank. Come here during lunch time and you can get some really good sushi for $200-$300. I usually get the 10 piece which is under $200 if I remember correctly. With the 10 piece, it is usually the chef's pick of the day and you get the usual suspect like salmon, uni, yellowtail, tuna, etc. All are fresh and in good proportion. The rice is just rig

The rice is just right without being too hard or cold. You won't be disappointed with the sushi here. One time I sprung for the chirashi and it was the prettiest chirashi I have ever seen! It was served in a round wooden bowl as shown below and the sashimi is almost spilling over the bowl because there were so much of it! The presentation was very appealing to the eyes and stomach. The uni and salmon roe were held by cucumber and the pairing was surprisingly good. The other sashimi like salmon and tuna were nicely cut and generous in size. I could not wait to devour it and it was some of the best sushi I've had in HK. The lunch set usually comes with steamed egg, miso soup and dessert. Very satisfying  and good value for lunch. I did come here once for dinner but it was really expensive and their cooked food was not that impressive. Just stick with lunch.
