I like the ambient decoration and mood of patio 88. I think it is beautiful with a touch of warmth and home like feeling, maybe it's due to the yellow tulip colored walls and ruby ornamental lamps. My boyfriend brought me there in September before he flied to London to continue his study. That is the first time I discovered this nice place. My boyfriend ordered a romantic dinner set for us. We tried the marinated herb salmon salad, roast rack of lamb and a a la carte spicy scallop spaghetti.I am not a wine lover, but I can say that the red wine goes well with the dessert, Strawberry Napoleon. We two have an unforgotten fine dining experience on that night. I still remember the waitress lighted up the candle on our table when we first sat down The owner was too kin to select music for us, including the < Once in a Blue Moon >, a song from one of my favorite singers, Emi Fuijita.
As Christmas is approving, my boyfriend will come back to Hong Kong. I am planning to hold a welcoming party with our friends. I am going to order a tailor-made menu for him on that night. I think that will be another unforgettable night for us.
