The food was ok, not amazing but the service was absolutely horrible and unprofessional.

They served 1 menu but customers for dinner received different items without special requests for add ons. Specifically, our group was not being served certain premium dishes that was being served to customers right next to us.

When we had asked the staff why we were being served different items despite only offering 1 menu, they responded because we had booked in advance and due to the typhoon in Japan, it was hard for them to receive all the necessary ingredients????
Yet we had paid full price despite not receiving all the ingredients for a normal night that served premium dishes??? Very interesting response.

Dinner service was full and because of staffing issues, we had received a chef that was “helping out”. Often, we would have to wait a good 5 minutes after being served our dish or sushi for someone to tell us what we were actually being served. As this “help-out” chef wasn’t familiar with what he was actually serving and we had watched him struggle throughout the night with plating the food correctly. Although the “help-out” chef was very nice.

Be extremely aware if you have any food allergies. They didn’t pay attention and served one of our guests food containing items they were allergic to. The guest wasn’t aware until they had taken a bite. When we notified the staff, they didn’t seem to care at all or understand that this could had been a serious matter had it been a severe allergy. What’s the point of asking if there are any allergies?

Overall, for HKD 2,680 pp, it’s extremely disappointing and the experience is not worth this price. There are better options available at this price range.
