It's basically a cha chan teng but it did a bit of makeover, making things look fancy with lamps disguised as hanging bird cages. The menu itself is a cute and colorful with cartoons and photos the food. Everything is written in both English and Chinese.

I know a lot of people seem to order the Golden Brick, but I didn't want that. The Golden Brick is a big towering piece of toast, stuffed with curry. I really didn't want that as the last time I had something similar, I always regret it as it becomes one disgusting soggy mess that I never finish eating. So, today I just ordered something simple. Rice with beef and tomato sauce.

Portion was smaller than most cha chan tengs. But since I have a small appetite, it was ok for me. I'm unsure if a guy with a full appetite would have thought this was enough. The beef was pretty good as it wasn't overly softened by baking soda like most cha chan tengs. The tomato sauce was delicious. Not too tart and not too sweet. It was also not too thick and not runny at all.

The place was fairly clean. I'd return.
