Fancy Japanese Place

As a crazy fan of Jap food, I would go to an izakaya without hesitation, not to mention when it comes to my birthday dinner. My friend brought me to this Jap restaurant in the heart of CWB, which is also the heart of the city itself. I don't usually expect fancy good food from fancy interior decor. but this one is an exception. - squid marinaded with seaweed: I am a big fan of Jap style appetizer.  - [Sashimi] One thing I love about Izakaya is that the chefs are always so patient and professional that they could recommend good dishes that always suit you. This is one of them: sliced sashimi of a (whatever) fish. Dip it into the special sauce and it leaves an unforgettable taste within you. -

 - [Sushi roll] Who can say no to Maguro rolls? The tuna in the middle is just sooooooo good that i didn't even realize i didn't take photos until two were gobbled.

 - [Hot food] Guess what? Yeah it was steamed egg with urchin! Smooth and silky. Another highlight of the night of delight (Wow call me a poet dope.)-

We didn't get any birthday surprise tho (or that we didn't actually ask for it). So it was a really cool birthday dinner after all. I can't say it is cheap but totally worth a try.
