we hold banquet that night. before banquet, mom and me and uncle feel hungry. we want to go to shatin 18 to eat noddles and peking duck. however the restaurant is close 3 pm. the lobby check in waitress said only room service is available. i said how about buffet or inside cafe. i said i am client at salon. she then ask someone then allow us to eat inside cafe. however it does not having any buffet. things inside are quite expensive. e.g. a wing ton noddles need 90 dollars. also we need to give table at 5 pm for 5 30 pm starting buffet. food need a lot time for waiting. but taste very good. service very good. i am very satisfy with the environment of shatin hyatt. but i hope that it can provide food 24 hours whenever customer are hungry. also can open more restaurant e.g. japanese food, italian food, etc.also now is unlimited free parking is excellent. we total order a steak which is 248 dollars. wing ton noddles, beef noddles. also 4 hot drink 1 cold fruit punch. the price is over 700 dollars. anyway we should expect coz this is brand of grand hyatt. service, washroom, environment like this should equal to the price. steak very tender, vegetable very good. my uncle's beef super nice but when he know that cost 90 dollars. he said outside only need 20 dollars. i said this is shatin hyatt. hahahhaa. my sis's fruit punch is super nice. she said the whole drink is fresh juice. not from concentrated. my bro in law's coffee is super nice too. but he said unfortuneatly there is no refill like grand hyatt. my hot lemon tea having a very big refill pot. but i guess if possible. i dont think i will visit the cafe for set menu because of the expensive price and the rush hour. when we go there, there is only 1 table. which is 2 foreigner with 2 drink on their table. i think if i go to shatin hyatt. i will either go to shatin 18 try peking duck or cafe try the buffet even there are not a lot of choice for buffet with the price nearly 400 dollars. however with 5-10 mins drive from my home. i think better then i need to drive and pass lion tunnel and go to t.s.t. hotel.
