This is one of the best fondue restaurants, hands down. Over the years, we have been to many in Switzerland. Chesa still compares favourably.There is the fondue hot pot style and the raclette and I love both. For the raclette, it is already plated when it comes out (unlike in Switzerland where sometimes the guest does the grilling). There is the fondue hot pot style and the raclette and I love both. For the raclette, it is already plated when it comes out (unlike in Switzerland where sometimes the guest does the grilling). The cheese is aromatic, running and crisp on the outside at the same time and the garnishes are perfect to highlight the taste. For the fondue, a serving a plenty for one person and some share. There is a bit of alcohol to enhance the taste and it is so very flavourful.
There are other favourite dishes here. For appetisers, the assiete is highly recommended - being a variety of cold cuts, garnished. Also the crab meat pancake. For mains, the sausages are great.
Greatest of all is always the fondue.
Service is warm and welcoming. Price is not only reasonable, it is a steal.
