Have been to la Vache for a few times already, I have been noticing the cooking of the steak is a bit off in the past few occasion and this time also.They only do walks in for parties less than 6, and the restaurant opens at 6 if you arrive after 6:30, great chance that you would need to wait for 1.5hour or more. We arrive on 6:45 tonight and we got the last big table. Thank god that we don't need to wait!The service they provide are good, they only do one item --the steak. They will make down h

The service they provide are good, they only do one item --the steak. They will make down how would you like the steak and they will start the meal with bread and salad then the main.
salad, the dressing was never my favourite, quite sour. Overall quite refreshing.
Fresh, warm and fluffy.
Then the main, which I have a problem with. 3 of us order the medium and I like mine medium rare, however, the 4 steak comes in, some are quick thick some are thinner. I guess that's not the main problem, as one of the medium one was kind of on a thicker side and it is quite rare on the inside, where the other one is kind of thin, the middle is completely cooked (no pink inside). And my medium rare steak have an uneven cut, thin on the side and the middle was ok. So the out come is the side is COMPLETELY cooked and the middle is just right.
This is quite unacceptable for a steak house to serve this quality of steak when all the do is steak.... to be honest we were quite disappoint by the experience. (it was not like that last year, the steak was quite perfect then... very disappointed)
Then we also order 2 dessert, luckily those are nice and quality still maintained
the hazelnut praline creme is so nice with some crunch 
very smooth baked creme, caramel have some brunt taste and balance with the sweetness.
Everything about this restaurant is nice expect the steak, I probably won't come back again as the main point of this restaurant is about the steak.
