We were walking past this shop, with no intention of eating or joining the long queue. The shop front was plastered full of newspapers and magazine recommendation. We even overheard from some old aunts that the salted egg custard bun were really good. Determined to try some and not wanting to join the queue, we asked the waitress if they do take away. Just further ahead, it was sea promenade and we found a bench to sit down to savour on our prized asset. Even though it was already 5 min since we bought the bun, the bun was still very hot when we tried to open the bun. Once opened, the bun was overly filled with salted egg lava, attempting to flow out of the bun from every corners. The taste was very good and had a very strong salted egg smell.
