The fixed 6-course meal is very disappointing and not worth the money (HKD770) though the food presentation is praiseworthy. Every dish looks refreshing, it’s neat and clean, which goes in line with the vegetarian concept and the elements of nun cuisine- the beauty of simplicity. But the food itself looks better than it tastes, which is a big turn-off.

3. Mushroom terrine with herb sauce/chilli paste/ sesame oil
📝 first of all, it tastes so bland even if you got three different kinds of sauce to top with. And the terrine just broke into small pieces of jelly when you picked it up with chopsticks, it doesn’t hold at all
4. Radish roll
📝it’s doenjang cooked mushroom wrapped in thin radish. Doenjang is all I can taste
5. Sweet & spicy mushroom: best dish, the texture resembles that chinese sweet and sour pork with a strong hint of sesame oil. It’s crispy outside and soft inside.

6. 🌟Poached pear with red dates and cinnamon & star anise🌟
📝the idea of using korean pear as dessert is commendable. The combination of red date slices, wolf berry, mint, cinnamon sauce and the cylinder shaped pear is diverse and vibrant, it also gives you different flavours and textures
7. Petit four with korean herbal tea (which is a black sesame candy, twisted donut 꽈배기 and niupang tea, 우엉차)
📝the dessert is good in general but it doesn’t wow us.
We are not sure if the dishes are made to be bland to embody the simplicity and zen elements of the restaurant, but it doesn’t mean the taste of the food can be compromised.
