I live in Shau Kei Wan and heard about <Golden fried chicken> a while ago catching a lot of spotlight from the Golden forum. However, due to my tight schedule at work, i didn't get a chance to try it.During the xmas holiday, i finally get a chance to check it out in the afternoon tea time (around 4-ish).When i got there, i've seen about 8-10 ppl waiting in the line up in front of me. I live in Shau Kei Wan and heard about <Golden fried chicken> a while ago catching a lot of spotlight from the Golden forum. However, due to my tight schedule at work, i didn't get a chance to try it.
During the xmas holiday, i finally get a chance to check it out in the afternoon tea time (around 4-ish).
When i got there, i've seen about 8-10 ppl waiting in the line up in front of me. It took about 7,8 minutes for me to order.
I asked the girl which is the most popular item in the store and she introduced me the "primary school chicken", which I have ordered the BIG portion ($18).
While waiting, the girl and the boss were very generous to ask me writing something on their message board

After waiting for about 5 mins, i've got my food and get started

The "Primary School Chicken" (BIG) has about 8,9 pieces putting in a paper bag. The chicken itself was quite good! The pieces are all juicy and fresh! I think they have used chicken thigh meat. Also, unlike some others taiwanese fried chicken, using thick fried flour, they have applied a thin one on it, which makes the pieces not taste too full and heavy.
Overall it's a pleasant experience for the food and the service itself. As a neighbour in Shau Kei Wan, i would definitely support and go again!
