We have a dinner gathering with few of our friends. As we knew beforehand their signature dishes (8 treasure duck & soga lotus paste pudding) need to make reservation in advance, so we notified the staff when we reserved our table 2 weeks in advance. Much to our disappointment, when we arrived we were told that our table was given to others due to some miscommunication among their own staffs. In the end they managed to find us another seat but that 2 dishes disappeared into the air as well. As i

Much to our disappointment, when we arrived we were told that our table was given to others due to some miscommunication among their own staffs. In the end they managed to find us another seat but that 2 dishes disappeared into the air as well. As it was nearing Christmas, so the waitress informed us that some of the dishes were sold out.

In front of the photo was stir-fried minced pork wrapped in lettuce. They were served separately, so we can decide on the amount of meat to put on the lettuce. Minced pork was cooked together with nuts and cut mushrooms. Lettuce was fresh and the minced pork paste was nice too. On the top left hand side was braised Shatin tofu. Besides having braised tofu in the dish, it also has green beans, mushrooms and roasted pork. Tofu was not smooth enough. Roasted pork has layer of fats with it, when eaten it was nice. Top right was fried prawns. Basically it was French toast with prawns. Bread was toasted till crispy and with a bit of garlic taste. Prawns were very tender as well.
