I was in a group of 6 going to Cafe Seoul. My expectations were that we were going to eat Korean cuisine in a Korean set up.My group and I entered the restaurant, as we were ordering I noticed a problem with the service. However the waitress did not speak English. Luckily we had some Chinese in my group so we managed. If your whole group did not speak Chinese, you could still be able to communicate because the menu had pictures and though the waitress did not speak English she was still able to
My group and I entered the restaurant, as we were ordering I noticed a problem with the service. However the waitress did not speak English. Luckily we had some Chinese in my group so we managed. If your whole group did not speak Chinese, you could still be able to communicate because the menu had pictures and though the waitress did not speak English she was still able to communicate with us. The waitresses was quite shy and nervous making us as customers concerned if we got the right meal. The food came and we enjoyed our meal.
The menu had a variety of many different meals. For example, the boneless fried chicken, Korean fried vegetables with egg, Korean sushi and something else we couldn't remember but it tasted great. The boneless fried chicken tasted really juicy, as I took a bite out of the fried chicken I can remember the juice dribbling down my mouth. My friend and I had the boneless fried chicken, it tasted delightful. Our only negatives were the amount of calories we were consuming and the price of our meal. As I slowly nibbled at the flesh the juices ran down my chin. Heavenly! Make sure you write your own.
The atmosphere is really the main reason for my overall rating. My expectations were that there would be plain walls with nothing on them and fine Korean cutlery. Instead I felt I was in an American style environment. For example, the whole restaurant tables were very dark and there was no table mats.
In my opinion I wouldn't go to this restaurant as a group but by myself, primarily because my favorite meal was served quickly and to my great joy and satisfaction, not because it was Korean. My overall rating would be 3/5.
