Perhaps as a result of catering to Hongkies’ preferences, I personally think the chicken rice and bakuteh actually surpasses even the real Singaporean Man Wah and the chicken rice in Fullerton! Rice was flavourful and wickedly moist with the fragrance of chicken aroma, roast chicken had an almost crispy skin and tender texture, and bakuteh was not overpoweringly medicinal. Yum!
