After a long day at work, we decided to treat ourselves some decent food. With the recommendation by one of our colleagues. We found this Japanese restaurant that served Kansai style Sukiyaki. It was a nicely decorate place with the direct view of all the kitchen doing, which serve the purpose of this meal. It can go by menu set or ala cart, we decided to go with set menu because it save us the hassle to consider which one will go well with other. The first dish was seasonal Sashimi Three kinds.

The first dish was seasonal Sashimi Three kinds. We very enjoy as the chef had walk us through the species of sashimi and we like the most were the scallop. It was fresh and tender when the first bite, then we dip it with some fresh ground wasabi to help increase the sweetness. The other two sashimi was great, one of it had light burn on the surface and create a different flavor to the sashimi.

Steam Egg was the second dish, the ingredient including fresh mushrooms, fish egg and fish cake. Had to say the fish eggs was one of the best I ever eat. Mixed it with the steam egg was wonderful because fish eggs brought slightly saltiness to the dish and refresh our mouth for the next main course.

Salted Beef Tongue was the number one pick to me for the entire meal menu. I’m strongly suggest everyone must order this dish because it was so tender and juicy.

We picked Beef Wagyu Rib Eye and Beef Wagyu Sirloin as our main meat for sukiyaki. The wagyu had matured for 30days, which had enhance more flavor for the wagyu. After the chef cook it, with the minimum time, it served hot and you must dip it with the raw egg. Raw egg smooth the meat and when you mixed with the rice they served, you will had a mouth orgasm because it was sweet, and rich of flavor at the same time.

Seasonal Vegetable Four kinds will be served after you finish the main course wagyu beef. It will stir fry with the remain wagyu fat in the pot, vegetable itself was sweet, but also come with a little bit of wagyu flavor.

At the end was the Maitake Soup. this soup allow to clean your taste sensor before eating the daily dessert. The mild taste of the soup can do the trick.

Dessert of the day was this beautiful crystal ball. It does not have much taste but it was recommend to mixed with the brown sugar syrup.

The overall experience was great, all the stuff was kind and helpful. The chef will walk your through the dishes.
