Let me tell you, I've been to many taiwanese restaurant in HK and almost all of them are HK style taste converted HK chief taiwanese food. I've been to Taiwan many times and I know what authentic taiwanese food suppose to taste like. When my friend refer me to check this new taiwanese cuisine一葉 'Formosa Autumn' operate by a Taiwanese I was anxious to try it out.I was very plasantly suprise that the food taste authentic taiwanese style and really good too. I was very plasantly suprise that the food taste authentic taiwanese style and really good too. When I said AUTHENTIC I mean for example the Minice pork rice 肉燥飯 might look ordinary but it's every bid as tasty just like the one they serve in Taiwan. And oh, try the Sweet Vinigar Fish 糖醋黃魚、, the sause is yummy with just the right amount of sweet & vinigar and not thicken like the usual HK style. Then there is the Fried Oyster 蚵仔酥, crunchy on the outside, hot and sweet inside . Also must try the 5 taste Squid, you definitey won't better tasting squid serve in their house special sause. I have yet to try their 三杯雞 Taiwanese famous 'Three Cup Chicken' because my friends said they just had it a few days ago so we had the Soy Sause style chicken, which is still very good. I know I will come back quite often to try their other dishes! Highly recommend.
