Having tried the Jordan branch which was duly impressive, I looked forward to tasting the dishes in this new HK island branch so hurried as soon as it opened to the public. Needless to say, I was wholly satisfied with the experience. I devoured their signature Ramen dish:...rich, thick broth with thin noodles cooked to my liking, tender pork slices and a whole soft-boiled egg, all topped with a dolop of spiciness, crisp bamboo shoots, fresh chopped spring onion and crunchy seaweed. Plenty of refreshing lemon water and complimentary condiments are available on each table. The condiments provide extra flavour (and extra kick) that you can add as toppings to your liking - spicy bean sprouts, Japanese pickles Takana and aromatic ginger slices.

Generous portions, authentic and unique Japanese flavours, intensely attentive staff and a relaxing atmosphere in an otherwise bustling neighbourhood. Very pleasant to see consistency in the high standards of the branches.Worth every penny and countless future visits!
