This is a cute little restaurant hidden in the back streets of Tsim Sha Tsui. It has a bright and open atmosphere, although is not very large. The menu itself was surprisingly modern and sophisticated, with interesting takes on traditional desserts - although there is a small selection of Chinese desserts, most of the menu consists of more international fare.
We tried three desserts between us - the banoffee pie in a glass, chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream, and a cookies'n'cream milkshake. The milkshake was decent - thick and tasty, with mini cookies - but not particularly outstanding. The banoffee, which came second, was well-made, sweet, creamy and crunchy in the right places, with fresh banana and balanced flavours. We were looking forward to the lava cake, having seen it on the menu in advance, and it didn't disappoint. The vanilla ice cream, on a chocolate crumb, was served in an open-topped glass globe, covered with a biscuit shaped a little like a partially-eclipsed moon, with the actual cake on top of that - so that when the cake was cut, the gooey center would drip down through the hole in the biscuit onto the ice cream. Good-looking, clever, and tasty - what more could you want?
