I've been a long time customer of Gingko House and was very excited to hear that as of Aug 31, they have changed to a pure vegetarian concept. Oct 3:

Went there for lunch and tried their Mushroom melt veggie burger. They use a lactose-free mozzarella cheese and melted it over some stir-fried skitake mushrooms. Veggie patty was a pepper pork patty which is baked and not fried. It was served with a side of potato wedges and a small side salad. They use fresh potatoes to makes the wedges which is a nice touch. One of the better veggie burgers I've as of late. I was told by the server that they use hydroponic lettuce in their burger. Again, nice touch. Great deal also if you have the VIP card (which they giving away for free). Saved me $30!

Brought a friend to try out their 8-Course Veggielicious Dinner. Their staff showed me the menu last time and looked pretty good. Go Monday to Thursday as you save $20 off their VIP pricing. ($179 Monday to Thursday, $199 Fri, Sat, Sun, holiday) make sure to get the free VIP card to get this price.

Each course has its own special ingredient. The first two salads used a lot of pickled products to open up the appetite. Soup is also made in house daily. The "Power shell" is by far the most unique dish. It comes in a baked wonton skin with and avocado filling. Wonton was crunchy. Filling was nice and avocado-y... Just the way I like it.
