flipper’s 嘅pancake一向質素都有保證 今次黎就好似空氣感重咗 食落一陣風咁 但係蛋香味同牛油依然突出
上面嘅忌廉其實有兩層 上面普通個層重奶香味多啲 而下面就係奶茶味嘅忌廉 兩者都唔膩食落十分輕盈
珍珠係佢地嘅珍珠奶茶入面用嘅珍珠 冇額外浸過黑糖㗎 但係口感煙韌 只不過同軟綿嘅pancake好似太大對比
另外亦都會有黑糖漿 味道唔甜反而有啲焦糖嘅苦味 會蓋過pancake本身嘅蛋香 結果我大部分時間都係冇點到啲黑糖漿
Flipper’s fluffy pancakes never fail to disappoint! This time around the pancakes were extra airy, but it still tasted buttery and had a strong eggy flavour.
The cream on top comes in two flavours - the upper layer consists of the typical milky whipped cream, and the bottom layer is milk tea flavoured. Both layers were light and silky smooth.
The pancake also includes a bunch of boba pearls, which were basically the typical ones that they put in their bubble tea. Was kinda expecting it to be the brown sugar soaked type, but it’s alright as there was brown sugar syrup provided on the side anyways. I would say that the chewy texture of the pearls was too big of a contrast to the fluffiness of the pancake, and the syrup ended up being too strong and overpowers the eggy-ness of the pancake.
This seasonal flavour is creative overall and very on trend but I still prefer the original one after all.💕
