在到達店舖門口前, 見到人潮一大堆, 還以為是如此多人在等候這家的拉麵, 原來不是, 而是隔離的泰式船河店, 提供任食串燒套餐, 對於任食香港人還是相當吸引的. 鬼金棒主打的是麻辣拉麵, 不只是辣勁可以選擇, 連麻度也可以, 所以也真夠Tailor Made的.除了麻辣湯底外, 它的炒芽菜及炒蒜蓉也是其他日式拉麵少有的, 炒過後的配料除有本身的香氣, 也有焦香的香氣, 令本身重口味的湯底味道更濃厚. 用上厚切腩肉而非傳統叉燒, 也提供獨有的油脂甘香, 肉夠腍, 皮脂肉口感層次分明, 對喜歡重口味的我完全沒有問題. 湯底的麻度夠重, 辣度較Mild, 麵身口感厚實, 掛湯能力OK. 更為難得的是, 未到多年來不變, 沒有為了Entertain香港食客而我刻意改變口味, 兩間店舖的水準平均, 沒有胡亂擴張, 也是我欣賞這家店的理由.Kikanbo is based at Tokyo and she is specialized in spicy ramen that is hardly found in elsewhere of HK. The vegetable is being fried and the special aroma can enhance the original taste. The pork belly in cube is delicious and quite heavy for lady but definitely is fine for me.
