The very famous Korean icecream Baekmeidang had come over to Hong Kong but only for a short period of time. Surprisingly, this softie shop provided loads of flavours, including a seasonal limited edition fresh blueberry flavour. However, I picked the original flavour among all as I would like to try the true quality of the shop with the most basic challenge for my first experience here.

The queue was fair but the service was efficient. I got my cone under 5 minutes after ordering.

Comparing to the Japanese creme softie in Taikoo, this Korean version had a much firmer texture, and therefore the swirl shape could be maintained for long without melting. The milk taste, in return, was much softer than expected since the proportion of ice was heavier. It was less of a condensed milk version but still sweet enough as a wonderful icecream. The cone was like the packet version of waffle biscuits instead of cookie crepe or Belgium waffle, which I personally preferred the latter ones.

Overall, it was a fair quality and worth for a try, but the price was relatively expensive given such quality. Maybe other flavours would be more outstanding.
