It was probably the first time I dined in Cheung Sha Wan. Thanks to my dinner partner who brought me here. It was not so hard to find after getting out from MTR exit, although it was not that close. It was a small and cozy cafe offering a simple menu of salads, snacks, pizzas, desserts, drinks, main courses including pasta, fish and chips, burgers, duck breasts and steak. We could smell the oil when they started cooking it after taking our order. The seafood included a mussel with shell, pan-fried fish fillet, 1 slice of crab meat, pieces of crab stick, mini shrimps, mini clams and something like fish ball sticks. Veggies included some fresh salad greens, small green beans and mushrooms. The pasta was spaghetti which was very thin and sufficiently al dente. The sauce was very creamy and thick that every spaghetti was sufficiently flavoured. It was delicious.
Old-Time Flavor Takoyaki Pizza 古早章魚燒 Pizza $120+10%
It was quite a special pizza that we decided to try it out. It was divided into 8 slices instead of the usual 6 from a pizza of radius of 8 inch. Toppings included loads of chopped octopus tails with lots of takoyaki sauce, salad dressing, seaweed and lettuce shreds. The crust was not those crispy and thin type but it was not overly thick either. The edge was crunchy though. In gist, it was mostly about takoyaki sauce on a pizza base.

We immediately made up our mind to try out their waffle when we saw it on the menu. It took us a while to wait but our time was worth it. Portion was giant with two big pieces of waffle. The waffle had chocolate mochi at the centre which was chewy and sticky while the edge was slightly crispy, offering a more complicated texture. There was a big chocolate ice cream scoop and a lot of fresh banana slices and blueberries topped by some cream and chocolate sauce. The waffles were slightly warm. If they could have been more crispy, it would be even better!
Amongst the three items we tried this time, we personally loved the spaghetti most while the mochi waffle was not bad. Seating was not bad although we had to take two high stools near the entrance.
