Since I have opened my JC a/c I have been spending money on betting every week. This is my first time coming to the racecourse in Shatin and I think it is just a lot bigger than the HV one, but it's more old school though. Once I reached the doorstep of Hay Market, I felt like I have entered another dimension. Pretty classic with a nice sweet fillings and butter crust, the warm vanilla sauce was not to be missed.

The port wine is one of my favourite kind of dessert wine, again, the taste of it was not noticeable but the whole thing was still pretty presentable and enjoyable. The creme brulee itself was smooth.

My favourite dessert so far, the housemade pastachio ice cream has a nice nutty flavour but not too sweet, while the cherry jubilee was prepared freshly by heating it up from the pan, the warm and cold contradiction was very pleasant. The cherry was big and juicy, the juicy just bursts out as soon as you bite into it, and it went nicely with the light ice cream. I would love to have more of it.
