Completely outraged by their service! Before deciding on our meals, my fiancé politely asked the server what the daily soup was, which is such a normal question to ask, given some people may be allergic to certain foods. The server made it known he was reluctant to do so, showcasing a live “dragging of feet” to the kitchen and also sarcastically saying “Okay!” He returned and mumbled that the daily soup was tomato cream soup. His attitude didn’t even bother us too much, as we understood that some Chachantangs in Hong Kong are bound to have servers that behave in such a way. What flipped my boat was when my “medium” steak came looking more like medium rare, with the top half uncooked, and I nicely asked for the chef to help me cook it a little longer. The server challenged me and said that I had ordered a “medium” steak and asked whether I knew what a medium steak looked like.
I was completely appalled as the steak was clearly not “medium,” and I was polite when asking if it could be cooked longer.
What great service!
