見意 我哋岩岩12。40分去到。 以經坐滿晒人。 有好多人等。 我見意早多d 去。 唔使同人"爭" 揾位好難。 要望下邊個就快食完。 企係到﹐ mark 實﹐ 唔好轉里轉去﹐ 會比人成虛而入。 如過好似我咁。兩個人去。 一定要SHARE枱﹐ 坐入面﹐ 就好麻煩。 羅野食時﹐ 要由入面走出里﹐ 要麻煩好多人﹐ 有D 人好無禮貌﹐ 扮聽唔到你講"借借" 唔比你出里羅野食。 但如過坐出面﹐ 羅野食係方便好多﹐ 但入面D人又會成日麻煩你比佢出里。 點都坐得唔舒服

Food: [/ b] Steamed custurd cake: quail dumplings: Roastpork bun: plain Cheung fun
Taste: [/ b] Maybe had too much expectation on this restaurant, so I was quite disappointed when I came out unsatisfied. The best dimsum I had there must be the Roast pork bun. With the Roast pork being fresh and lots of sauce. Sometimes the sauce can be all dried up, making the bun tasteless and dry.. As we were waiting for new dimsum to be pushed out by the dim sum trolley, we had two batch of the roast pork bun. The Quail dumplings was not as nice as many people have said. It was quite dried and not fresh enough. I didnt like the taste of the pork they have seasoned. The steam custurd bun was fluffy which was a good thing, but was all cold and dried. I could not taste any egg flavor in it. The Cheung fun, was thick and not silky at all. Was rather tasteless even with soy sauce. The only thing I thought I should compliment is the Chinese Tea. You can tell they invested in good Tea leaves!
Environment [/ b] To tell the truth everyone knows Lin Heung Tea House is an old historical restaurant with many history to it. It has kept itself in good condition. Everything looks good in condition, in an old fashion way. It is quite cramped, with only big circle tables. Hardly any room to stand, which makes it impossible for people to stand and wait for seats by the tables.
Services: [/ b] no service whatsoever. In old types of restaurant like this. You gota look for seats yourself, and go "fight" for the dim sum yourself.
OVERALL: [/ b] I dont think i would like to go back to try the dim sum again. We are now too used to having a dim sum sheet where you tick and order the dim sum you like, and wait for it to be bought to your table. Lin Heung Tea House keeps the old system. The new dim sum will be pushed out in different dim sum cart. It is quite hectic. everytime you hear theres new dimsum being pushed out, everyone rushes out to fight for the dimsum. It is quite dangerous, as people dont line up, but pushes to get infront. Theres no manners whatsoever. It is first come first serve. So if you are not fast enough, you dont get any dimsum, and need to wait for next round. ,
Tips [/ b] I I went there at 12.40, and it was very packed already. With all seats taken and people standing waiting for seats. I would recommend you to go earlier, that way no need to fight for the food. You will need to look for own seat. have a look and see who looks like they are nearly done. Stand by them, and stop changing targets, if you do, other people will take your place, and you might miss your chance of getting a seat. If you are like me, only two people going, then you will need share a big table with people. No privacy but sitting inside of the table or on outside of table (aisle) is quite different. if you sit inside, it causes quite alot of hassle to get out. As everytime you try get out to go grab dimsum, you need to get pass everyone else. Some people will get annoyed and pretend not to hear you. But on other hand you sit on outside, people will ask you to move to get out. either way, you wont sit very comfortably.
