鍾情All day bkf 的我,選擇的是 big bkf。sunny side egg 煎得恰到好處,全份早餐中,我最鍾意嘅就係蘑菇 ,又清又多汁,腸仔、煙肉和全麥麵包,三款食物配搭得宜,再配上一杯 Latte,實在滿足 。
My partner and I are frequent diners at this restaurant. Tonight, we decided to bring our friend from Dubai whom is visiting Hong Kong for dinner. We ordered a soup of the day (potato and leek) $70, a Margherita pizza $130, a spaghetti carbonara $120, an order of garlic fat fries $28, a side of grilled asparagus $55, one Sprite $40 and 4 bottles of Peroni beers $140, in total the bill was $509. Tonight, we decided to bring our friend from Dubai whom is visiting Hong Kong for dinner. I must say they do a very good deal throughout the week, besides the usual Happy Hour, they do buy one main get one free deal.
Food was the usual standard, nothing worth really complimenting on. However, the service, compared to previous experiences, was horrible tonight.
Firstly, the servers don't seem attentive; We asked to have all the food come together because we would like to share everything at the same time. We were seated at one of the high tables which are meant for 2 person, barely had much counter space. When they bought the food to the table, they basically chucked the dishes on the table without trying to reorganize the table; I had the plate of fries literally in front of me, my partner had all the beverages, salt & pepper jars in front of him .etc they also didn't bother giving us any plates for sharing until we asked.
Secondly, I cannot believe for $55 we got THREE asparaguses! Knowing that Wagyu Lounge is part of the Castelo Concepts, most of their joints we know they have big portions. When we wanted to reconfirm the portion size for the grilled asparagus, this server spoke to us very rudely and said 'yeah you get only three, it's only a side!?' The fact that we always eat there, we're shocked about her attitude and manners, also of course the 'inconsistent' side portion.
All in all, we're quite disappointed with the dinner tonight because we know they're normally better than this!

The Place: Wagyu Lounge (Old Bailey Street) is the little brother of Wagyu (Wyndham Street) – both places are conveniently located right in the center of Hong Kong’s action and attraction (Central).
Wagyu Lounge is a combination of a restaurant and a bar with comfortable seating and a loungy ambiance; I would call the place a high-end gastro-lounge.
Wagyu Lounges’ interior design can be described as being both stylish and modern with comfy dark brown leather sofas, perfectly matching wooden tables with cast iron legs and dim lighting. Tables can accommodate 2 to 6 people at a time without feeling cramped.
The atmosphere was vibrant and lively with smooth tunes in the background; due to the fact that the restaurant was rather packed, my friend and I needed to raise our voices a little to talk and thus understand each other, but totally not to the point that it got annoying :-)
I’d say that the crowds’ average age was probably around 33, and approx. 80% of the guests were Caucasians.
It has been my second time in a week to wine and dine at Wagyu Lounge. When my friend and I entered, not having booked a table in advance, we needed to wait a few minutes to be seated, which was perfectly fine; the place is very popular and it is worth it to wait.
The Food & Beverage: When you have the munchies or would like to have a lush cocktail, or just a glass of a decent wine, Wagyu Lounge is a good bet (only for carnivores though who do not have a religious restriction on food i.e. kosher or halal).
Wagyu Lounge offers a whole range of different dishes (here: for dinner) ranging from meat (tenderloin, Wagyu, ribs and many more) to saldas, pasta over fajitas and burgers….with a whole bunch of yummy side dishes and sauces.
As for drinks, Wagyu Lounge serves an array of lush cocktails, mocktails, and wines to complement your food or longing.
Side dishes to choose from include double cream mash potatoes, beans, peas, cream spinach, chips (and more).
There are different sauces to accompany your dish i.e. Béarnaise, Café de Paris, Mushroom (and many more).
My friend and I both went for the same dish – 8oz tenderloin with rocket salad, cherry tomatoes, and wasabi mash potatoes on the side. Their meat was of high quality and was cooked as ordered (medium-rare and medium-well done). As a sauce, we went for Béarnaise and Café de Paris; we found out that these two sauces are not home-made, however the mushroom sauce would have been, nonetheless we really enjoyed them anyway.
We were both really happy with our today’s choice.
The Price: Wagyu Lounge provides high quality food and beverage in a vibrant, young and cozy ambiance for your money.
Wagyu Lounge’s prices are perfectly reasonable.
What’s amazing is that Wagyu Lounge offers “2 for the price of 1” deals every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6pm to closing time. Almost all main dishes are included in that deal as well as all salads, pasta, fajitas etc.; excluded food are basically the starters and extra side dishes.
As mentioned before, my friend and I both had the same dish; its original price was 270HKD, so today we only paid 135HKD each – a price that is almost unbeatable.
Bottom-Line: To summarize my experience at Wagyu Lounge, it was a culinary experience for sure, there was a great range of different drinks which were yummy, the staff was super friendly, assertive and fast, the ambiance was lively, there are many options for different budgets to be found, the interior design was modern with warm lighting, the overall feel was comfy and cozy, the crowd was great, the tunes were smooth…the venue is fab for any kind of get together – breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night munchies or just drinks. I’ll be back soon. See you.

I went there at around seven but they said all seats were reserved and we needed to sit at the bar table. (but it was totally fine) as the food was really good. We ordered a pesto chicken pizza ($145), Risotto with mushroom/truffle ($125), potato and goat cheese salad and BBQ Ribs-half rack ($200). The pesto chicken pizza was the best. Fresh and crunchy pizza crust. The portion is satisfying too and we didn't manage to finish all. Yet, the risotto wasn't that good maybe the sauce was too wat

The ribs were a bit disappointing to me as the meat was fluffy but I will give it a chance next time. I will surely come back again.
As it's getting close to Christmas, everyone in the office was already in holiday mood. My friend and I decided to go for a late lunch at Wagyu Lounge near the office. Both of us ordered grilled prawn skewers and thai salad as appetizer. The prawn skewers were tasty and there were 3 skewers which was pretty decent portion. The salad was refreshing and it's good that it's not that spicy.
Both of us ordered rib-eye steak as main course. It's yummy. The surface was char-grilled while it's still very juicy inside. The meat flavor was also strong. The side dish including chips and asparagus were delicious too. Highly-recommended.
Wagyu Lounge has always been a bargain for its lunch menu, especially with its spacious and its earthy, rustic wood décor. It serves very decent food within affordable price in the heart of Soho, more importantly, it does serve a late-night menu if you don’t want a kebab or a slice of pizza.Cuisine: AustralianFood rating: 3/10*Service: 5/10 Ambiance: 7/10Price: HK$120pax* Food Rating: 6/10 is equivalent to 1 Michelin star, 8/10 to two Michelin stars, and 9/10 or 10/10 to three Michel

Nicoise salad (3/10) Surprisingly, grilled Tuna was used instead of tinned tuna. Potato was fairly boiled, but the sautéed French beans were not seasoned and the lettuce was only seasoned with the vinaigrette. If proper seasoning was used, definitely a much better Nicoise.
Mini Burgers with chips (4/10) The beef was fairly season, cooked to medium, very tender. The fries were freshly made, but the lacked crispness and salt, too much pepper was seasoned.
Grilled Tenderloin (3/10) The tenderloin was grilled nicely to rare, decent meaty flavour and nice colour. However, the asparagus weren’t cooked; it was still slightly raw, horrible.
The service average, not very customer focus, but it is acceptable to a Lounge standard, with the 2-4-1 Wed, it is a bargain for a dinner at Wagyu Lounge.
My coworkers and I decided on going out for lunch together and I had heard the set lunch at Wagyu Lounge is a pretty good deal, 3 courses including coffee or tea for $130 + 10% so we gave it a try. One thing I did notice was no bread basket was offered unlike Wagyu on Wyndham probably because this is a lounge and not really a restaurant. 2 of us ordered the set lunch and my other coworker ordered a la carte but we shared everything. 2 of us ordered the set lunch and my other coworker ordered a la carte but we shared everything.
I ordered the beetroot salad with feta cheese to start. It's quite a big portion for a appetizer but I have to admit wasn't too big of a fan of the generous feta cheese. But the salad was nice and light. Since we were sharing it was perfect size for all 3 of us to have a taste
The other set appetizer we choose was the smoked salmon with cream cheese on french bread. This apply was quite a bit heavier then the salad i chose but also quite enjoyable.
The last apply we shared was the seafood chowder, this dish was not what I expected. It did not seem like a chowder but more like a seafood bisque. It tasted very creamy but not much seafood insight...
Now onto the mains. I choose the lamb kebabs with couscous. This dish was delish!! Once again a big portion with 2 skewers of lamb and grilled veggies with a side of couscous and greek salad. I would come back again just for this one dish... Which was my favorite out of all the main courses that were ordered.. Didn't really want to share it
Next up was the set NZ strip loin. Since we were at Wagyu and they are famous for their steak we wanted to see if it was up to par. We ordered it medium rare and it came with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. The steak was quite tender and was good quality for a set lunch.
The a la carte item my coworker choose was the veggie pot pie. I only had a bite of this dish as I was consumed with my own choice and the steak. This dish was very rich and massively filling which I could tell after only a small bite. Not something I would ever choose to order but it's not bad.
By this point i was quite stuffed but the set dessert came, there's no choice to choose from and the dessert that day was a chocolate cake with whip cream. I found the chocolate cake kind of dry and I had wish they had another choice for you to choose.
