It is a very British style pub, where people would go after work for happy hour drinks, to socialise and relax. This is really the impression that I had, from the setting and interior of this place. Finally tried the Globe, a British pub that I have bookmarked for long time. Saw @annieatsalot ‘s post and it seems so tempting, so I couldn’t wait any longer, here I am finally! Came here on a Friday night to grab some drinks with a friend. 🌃This place has a very cool vibe and the interesting thing about it is that, from the entrance you won’t be expecting such spacious environment on the inside. ❤️The drink menu has many drink options like gin, whisky, wine, and of course, lots of great beer choices. 🍺 Since we were here mainly for drinks, we only ordered 1 pie to share - the beef, beer & mushroom pie sided with fries (or chips if you may). 🍟 🥧 It was a very fine pie! The Globe在中環Soho, 根據曾住英國的朋友說法，算是很地道的英式酒館，包括啤酒及食物，而內裹的客人也以外國人為主。The Globe 啤酒的種類很多很多，喜歡啤酒的朋友一定很開心，本地的，外國的，生啤、支裝的都有，酒類的menu 厚厚的就有一疊，對於有選擇困難症的朋友會很頭痛，相反食物的menu 只是薄薄的一張紙，反差也太大了吧，所以這裹真的是酒吧，是喝酒的地方，而並不是餐廳。酒雖然會喝一點點，但並沒有甚麼研究，反正我點的都不錯，至於食物方面：- 炸魷魚圈比較乾身又老，只是一般- Fish and chips 新鮮熱辣的，粉漿不算太厚，味道是okay 的，香腸自然是沒問題- 最值得推介的是這裏的焗批，這裏的批應該是很出名，因為每一枱也有點，而且口味選擇也多，雞牛素的也有，我們點了雞及牛的試試，即叫即焗，新鮮熱辣，但牛的味道是出色的，雞肉就只是普通，有機會去的人一定要點來試試看。

Hands down the best pie in Hk. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are super friendly.Only criticism was the the pastry on the pie was too sweet. Still it was delicious.The beer selection is very good and overall the pricing is quite fair.

之前係英國旅行食過mushroom pie，份量超大，先知原來外國人會當係一份正餐，味道都好好食，念念不忘，然後俾我發現香港有間餐廳可以做到英國的味道。一入到去The Globe，已經好似置身英國嘅pub咁，樓底超高，裝修有少少英式懷舊嘅感覺。客人都係以外國人為主，睇住佢哋一路食嘢一路嘆啤酒，我連嘢食都未嗌已經覺得好chill，好似去咗英國咁目標好明確，不過原來pie嘅選擇唔係係餐牌，反而寫喺牆嘅黑板。因為第一次食，所以都選擇佢好出名嘅beef beer mushroom pie。佢可以揀兩個side dishes，其實都係豆同薯仔嘅唔同煮法。內心諗住英國嘅Fish N’ Chips，所以衝口而出叫咗薯條，但等緊嘅時候，有一刻諗食批又食薯條，好似會好乾。不過已經嗌左，就由佢啦等咗一陣已經上枱啦，個pie嘅size同”粗獷”程度真係好像樣，毫無花巧嘅擺盤又真係幾有英國local pub嘅模樣個pie有少少爆汁，好吸引。一次落去，已經聽到pie皮嘅脆聲，入邊超多汁超多餡。一食落去，脆得尼入面好moist，個汁好惹味，濃味嘅汁抵消咗個批嘅油膩感。另外好多汁，口感唔會好dry。慢慢食食吓就會覺

有朋友最近係英國番左黎，隔離完十四日之後約我食好西，佢同我講有人推薦佢去食一間好有英國wetherspoon嘅餐廳，are you serious????好，就比一次機會佢！地點：地點真係幾難搵，要花一啲時間先搵到...特別要係度同openrice投訴，就係個map location同個地址唔一樣！！搞到我地行左好多冤枉路環境：一打開門，嘩....以前讀書嘅回憶返曬黎！想當年作為一個輸L嘅書生黎講，wetherspoon係我一間成日去嘅餐廳，因為夠平又夠chill，呢度簡直係有八成相似！長方形bar枱，英式卡位，仲有波子機呀！真係照足好多英式pub嘅設計去裝修。除此之外，入面十枱有八枱都係外國人，入到去簡直係平行時空，猶如回歸到大不列顛國一樣回憶返曬黎！食物質素：餐廳提供一系列嘅英式美食，但主菜都係有極多款式嘅酒比大家選擇！單單係wine menu都成吋厚！入面有世界各地嘅啤酒，而當中都不乏本地各大自家釀製嘅啤酒！Beef, beer and mushroom pie($160)以前weekend就會去pub食番個pie當brunch，大件夾抵食又飽！今日先試呢款pie。配菜可以跟薯蓉

放寬限聚令，可6人一枱，當然熱鬧多多，好想去老蘭，隔别半年，但都不敢，蘭友去到忘形，除口罩周圍走，揀soho區餐廳，意大利菜唔揀，記得有次在此飲Drinking, 印象食物吸引，英國菜，就來此。去到未夠7時，已滿8成人，興奮開心聲浪此起彼落， 充斥全店每個各落，勁多啤酒種類選擇，與炸魚薯條，是三生三世分不開。因主菜太大份，所以只選頭盤，試多些款式：酸種包伴煙燻鲭魚醬$86，包外薄脆香軟煙靭，鲭魚經薰陶,特別醒神，鲭香滿嘴，紅菜頭蓉清新口腔，但份量少焗肉腸卷pork and black pudding$84，英式香草豬血腸餡，外衣千層鬆香，食時零星飄散，肉質幼嫩，無血羶味，不說只有豬肉碎加某汁，蘸bbq 汁，帶出肉香炸手指魚$88，青瓜粒他他醬，手指魚外脆内嫩，大大條粗身，醬汁微酸滑滑，不用多說，無得酸種包伴煙薰什菌蒜汁醬$84，可能酱汁濕濕地，什菌燻香味谈咗，沒有蒜汁味，微辣，也不失禮與包配搭，加牛油果，或平平地一加黑松露油，我會更滿意！此時飲杯啤，lovecraft half@45全晚實在太熱鬧，個個都要擘大口講嘢,否則聽不到，me too,盡討心中情，開懷暢飲一樂也！

看過youtuber的介紹，懷念以前的Dickens Bar，星期六來這裏吃午餐。室內地方寬敞，一排排的卡位，英式酒吧的情懷。二人點了個抵食的午餐，再點了這兒有名的pie，有多款的選擇，我們要了傳統的蘑菇牛肉批， 當然，到酒吧總要喝啤酒吧午餐頭盤選了crispy lamb ribs，有驚喜羊炸得酥香好吃，伴碟的 mint sauce 很配合這道菜，開心指數立時升高了午餐主菜要了Duck leg conflict，鴨髀肉酥軟，伴碟的薯仔和豆都好吃。Dessert of the day 係 american cheese cake， 又是意外的好吃， 還伴了一球雲呢拿雪糕 午餐只需165，CP 值高肉批選擇了沙律做配菜，還有豆蓉，一大碟的很豐盛。肉批切開熱騰騰的，牛肉蘑菇餡是經典的組合，點會唔好食呀 埋單連飲品每人不用200蚊，ok呀

Good pub menu, but arriving after 2pm the Roast was not available for Sunday lunch. I ordered the chicken tandoori kebabs from the specials board only to be told that they were also not available. So I settled for the burger cooked medium. Arrived with big chips (not fries) and coleslaw. Not a huge amount of chips. Just enough. The burger had a few chewy bits, which felt like cheap cuts of meat used? Ordered a NE IPA from the guest taps which was excellent.

今晚係中環剛剛去完大館映相，心諗食咩好呢，跟住男友提意黎呢間the globe😊我地都係第一次黎未食過就大膽試下啦，店舖位於橫巷仔比較難找，不過最後都揾到。餐廳吾係好多人，入到去待應安排我地坐梳化位因為疫情期間要兩個咁坐，所以成個梳化area我地包哂🥳🥳lucky～餐牌全English ，我地兩個人叫左三樣餸前菜他他醬牛油果配餅 味道好fresh 又酸酸地咁好開胃🍊 main $185牛肉粒特式辣汁配飯好野味😋男友仲加飯食呀但趕住食冇映到相😅另一個係雞扒薯蓉，一般啦不過不失呢度最正就係6點玩到11點都冇人趕你走，環境超舒服超爽仲可以睇電視，一般餐廳邊可能做到，最後我飲下野吹水到10點先走非常滿意

My friends love this place because it authentically reminds them of home and rightly so, the food on offer and the amazingly wide selection of tap beers and ciders are in awe. I had the burger and was going through the Keto phase and they were happy enough to serve it without the bun. I do not think this had any effect on the taste which was awesome. Juicy and tender. 星期天想吃Sunday Roast 當然要去pub！剛好用餐當天天氣有點熱 入座後點了一杯Pimm’s和手工啤酒 立刻超有溫布頓網球賽般清涼夏日的感覺主食方面 我們點了Steak and Ale Pie 還有經典的英式家庭料理Sunday Roast作為一家Gastropub 食物當然不會令人失望 我的烤牛肉熟度剛好 有肉香 配菜也絕不馬虎 椰菜花芝士味香濃 紅蘿蔔經充分焦糖化 一點也不乾柴 配上肉汁和Yorkshire pudding 一個滿足的星期天午餐就應該是這樣！最後兩個人點了一份Apple crumble 味道酸酸甜甜 又有濃濃的牛油香氣 溫熱的甜點搭配冰凍的呍呢嗱雪糕 是一種最好不過的享受可改進地方：1. Yorkshire pudding有點烤太焦了 雖然沒什麼苦味 但我比較喜歡金黃色帶一點點焦的Yorkshire pudding 2. Apple crumble沒有custard可選 但它可是apple crumble的最佳拍擋呢The Globe是香港少見的英式Pub 如果你也喜歡吃pub grub 一定要來試試 🇬🇧
