26-9-2010本來想試試蘭桂芳附近的新拉麵店, 但去到發覺佢同大部分中環食店一樣, 星期日唔開門 (唉, 俾 Openrice 專頁的「星期一至日」呃咗, 真失策!), 上上落落最後入了呢間 crepe 店. 2 人叫了一人一鹹食, 另 share 小食及甜 crepe 各一, 整體印象認真麻麻:-主食叫了 savoury 的 "create your own crepe" (又名 C-Y-O-C; $58), toppings 揀了 smoked ham, sauteed spinach 及 scrambled egg (加 $10), 醬汁就要了 honey mustard... crepe 皮做得軟熟鬆泡, 帶點蛋香, 幾好食; 不過 toppings 就幾 hea, smoked ham 唔 smoked 又好嚡, scrambled egg 似煎多過 "scrambled" 又過晒火, 腍身 sauteed spinach 就直程「發黑」, 味道似「鹽水烚」多過 "sauteed", 令人諗起「英國留學食物」(即係點: http://www.openrice.com/r

在食評多次提到，簡單有很多時候的確是最好的．有變化當然是好，但連基本的也搞不好，怎變也好不了多少．所以簡單為本也真是重要．那當然要做得簡單又做得好又keep到是不容易的．中環開了間名為’Simplicity’的法式薄餅店，是在灣仔La Creperie之前開的．店子地點很不錯，內在環境光猛,但坐的位置不多，Bar枱位置反而比較舒服. 開放式的廚房雖可以看到薄餅(Crepes)的製作過程，但抽風系統不是太理想，人多的時候小店裡是挺熱的．說到sweet crepes, 其實有個set, $58有一款甜薄餅加咖啡或茶．款式可在menu上選擇．是日想對自己好一點，要另加錢要了雪糕和Cappuccino. 至於款式則要了"Apple and Almond"內有煮過的蘋果，焦糖，甜奶油和微微烤過的杏仁片．上桌的時候時幾surprise的．一塊大而薄的甜薄餅摺疊兩下成了三角，不像日式甜薄餅的淺黃色．質感亦較挺身．雖然是現叫現做的，但薄餅的餘溫竟然不足以令雪糕球溶化.香草雪糕是比較甜了點，餅身是少少脆，圓形邊比較乾身．餡料不多，蘋果經煮過後變軟身，帶一點肉桂香，甜味本身很輕，少量焦糖加上甜奶油也不覺甜

Some friends and I went to this place after dinner..I ordered the most expensive sweet crepe they offer "The Ultimate Heaven" HK$70 and it was absolutely NOT heavenly. 整天心情也不太好，就像有一塊石頭壓在心裡，久久不能舒懷。想找個地方坐坐，吃點甜的東西讓心情好一點，一直走一直走經過ｓＩＭＰｌｉｃｉｔｙ就想不如吃個甜的ｃｒｅｐｅ好了，所以就進來了。下午的時間客人不多，只有兩三個，大家也是靜靜的看著書用著電腦，是一個恬靜的環境。說想吃甜的東西，左想右想，最後還是要了較基本的ｂａｎａｎａ＆ｎｕｔｅｌｌａ，再加杯ｃａｐｐｕｃｃｉｎｏ，這是一個套餐來的，＄５８。一坐低看見檯面有個玻璃瓶盛載著一些紙，仔細一看原來是一個簽名運動，支持減低空氣污染等等，主張環保支持呼吸新鮮空氣的我當然支持，所以便簽了個名交給店員。這裡的店員也很好很有禮貌，有個阿姐還很細心問要不要暖水，很貼心呢。等了一會咖啡便來了，不過這杯ｃａｐｐｕｃｃｉｎｏ實在麻麻地。一喝下去奶泡是很凍的，很鬆散一點也不滑，溫度與咖啡成為太強烈的對比，而且我喝了一大堆奶泡進口還未喝到咖啡，這樣太過份了吧。加上她把奶泡弄得周圍也是，感覺有點求其呢，咖啡味亦不算特別香，所以這杯咖啡實在不太行。我還很擔心食物也弄得一樣糟，但之後的ｃｒｅｐｅ就好多了，可能是因為這樣的材料也難吃極有限吧。但最基本來到樣子是整齊漂亮的，ｃｒ

第一次吃法式 crepe, 不知這家味道是不是最好吃. 也不知「正宗」是怎樣的, 只憑感覺寫下食評. 點了 Classical 的 Caramel + Cointreau . 味道不錯, 很香的Cointreau 味, 但我很貪心, 我覺得加上橙皮絲會更好. 還點了 Heaven: Bailey's + Banana + Ice-cream.好味, 但想不到甚麼特別要讚. 這家店給我感覺不錯,我會再去的. 順帶一提, 不要只顧著拍照. crepe 放涼了沒那麼好吃.

saw this place in a magazine.... very tempting, because there is hardly any crepe place in hk.it is basically a self-service place and although the people were very nice and helpful, but the service was slow, and not good. like they brought us the soup and didnt even bother giving us spoons, which were not available at the self-service table. and most importantly, the crepes were not that great. the set lunch comes with a soup and coffee, and both were awful. if u want crepes out of the blue

黑仔的1天,連中2元(2間唔同食肆),想食咩無咩............我並唔想賴"佢", 但每次比"佢"困住,嗰日都無嘜運行..............dec 17 , 09,醒起呢度都有法式薄餅食,叫咗 : 1) savoury crepe (hk$48)-揀咗egg, bacon, cheese and tomato-特別要求整成open top,因我好懷念以前士丹頓街嗰間法式薄餅-外形似,不過出嚟個整體賣相始終唔似-1路影,1路都聞到好香,亦feel到那股熱氣-薄餅軟軟的-芝士放到最底,因熱力關係,已溶透,薄薄的躺於餅底,溶咗嘅芝士特別好味-但煙肉就硬咗d,亦無煙肉嘅香味 2) green apple juice (hk$32)-要咗鮮搾青蘋果汁-只喺自然酸,但當然唔多甜啦* 甜味crepe選擇當然多好多啦 * 服務很好.........起碼佢會按我要求煎成open top

I have developed a bond with Crepes over the years: for me, visting a French Creperie to down a bottle of Normandie Cider together with a Chevre-filled Galette while polishing off the weekend newspaper, must be akin to how some others would obligatorily goto their Church on a Sunday.
