Went PMQ in the morning and spotted this nicely decorated pasta bar - Pici. The pasta in Pici is freshly made and you can feel the difference from its texture, and bring out the taste of the sauce. We ordered a tagliatelle with mussels and saffron cream and a tagliolini with black truffle on top, both pasta are delicious but they are a bit salty to me.

To conclude, Pici serves one of the best pasta in town and the environment is so relax and chill, highly recommend you to come if you are looking for a place for decent food and great vibes.l

I’ve personally been to its Central and Wan Chai branches. My overall impression is that the Wan Chai branch is more of a hipster joint for small parties where the Central one is good spot for all occasions. The lunch menu is truly a bargain. 148 with no service charge with an appetiser, a pasta and a dessert. As with last time, there is a queue at around 1 o’clock. The lunch menu is truly a bargain. 148 with no service charge with an appetiser, a pasta and a dessert. As with last time, there is a queue at around 1 o’clock. They do not take reservations either for lunch or for dinner.

The two of us went with Prosciutto e melon + Beef Carpaccio for starters. Very tender beef, the parmesan blends very well with the rocket. Portion was good for more than 1. The prosciutto was thinly sliced and the melon was sweet and crunchy in a good way.

The pastas were delicious. Both dishes were hotly served. I have had the parpardelle before and this dish beats the last. The parpardelle was freshly made (as you can see from the semi open kitchen) and the flavour was well balanced - a safe choice I would say. I personally prefer other types of pasta over parpardelle only as I like it thinner.

The strozzapreti norma was exceptional. The eggplant was fried perfectly, it wasn’t too soggy and it gave a strong aromatic kick to the whole dish. The tomato sauce was the soul of the dish. The pasta was cooked al dente. Go try it yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

Tiramisu was fine, too sweet for my liking. Very smooth cheese though.

NB: When they first opened the Central branch, I had their tiramisu which had a piece of small glass in it - they offered to replace it with their Panna Cotta but nah thanks. Yes, I was brave enough to give it another try.

Also, the guy who sat next to me talked WAY too loud, they might consider spacing the tables better....

The food at Pici is fabulous!! But the service, not so much. When we arrived, there were 3-4 empty tables and we still had to wait 30 mins for a table. The hostess was very rude!!! Good thing that the food was so yummy!! Had the egg yolk ravioli which was by far the best dish ever. Just the way Gordon Ramsay makes it....

Pici在PMQ外,是一家意大利小館,這次試了它的午餐。午餐($148)有前菜、主菜和甜品/espresso,不用加一。前菜選了Andrea’s cold cut,上桌時被它的份量嚇了一跳!大份得分了幾大片火腿給朋友還剩很多,還配了Parmesan cheese,鹹香美味。主菜選了Roman ravioli,份量好像不大,但醬汁是濃郁的芝士汁(是羊奶芝士噢),所以頗飽肚。其實我沒仔細看餐牌,一般我是不會選羊奶芝士的(怕羶),還好這個醬汁我接受得了。甜品選了tiramisu,很大一杯,顏色偏黃,看來加了很多雞蛋(?)。吃完覺得超滿足!整體來說價錢合理,份量十足,味道不錯,有機會要encore!

I had a pretty awful end-to-end experience with Pici at Central. When my friend and I (who was visiting from Australia) arrived at 8pm on Saturday night, we were told there would be a 40 minute wait. That was fine, as we knew there were no reservations. Left our phone number and then went off to get a drink. After 45 minutes and no contact from Pici, we returned to the restaurant to follow up on our table status, only to be told there were multiple tables to be seated before us and we'd have to

They did not provide an updated time. We ended up waiting about another half hour to be seated. I'm fine with waiting as long as you can manage expectations - we ended up waiting almost twice as long as we were initially told. Not cool.

Anyway, we ended up having a delicious meal after we finally got a table, and agreed it was worth the wait. How wrong I was. After waking up the next morning, my friend and I were both violently ill, and spent the next two days stuck in my apartment taking it in turns to run to the bathroom to be sick. It was a pretty poor end to my friend's international trip.

At this point, I thought it worthwhile to contact Pici to let them know we had suffered food poisoning after eating at their restaurant. I sent a message detailing the time and day we had eaten there, as well as all the dishes we had shared, and suggesting they check their food preparation/storage. There is no doubt we were sick from eating at Pici, as this meal was the only one we shared and we both became sick at the same time.

Pici's response was to say they would investigate, and they gave me an email address I could contact. After not hearing anything further from them, I sent a follow up several days later, and received a response that they hadn't investigated further as no other customers had complained. I sent a follow up response to this stating that I knew we were sick from eating at Pici as we hadn't shared any other meals... and have not heard from them since.

I know food poisoning happens, and we did eat the burrata so it may be that the unpasteurised cheese was housing some bacteria for which Pici aren't at fault. However, the complete lack of interest expressed by Pici in this issue, failure to follow up, or provide any appropriate response or reassurance has really disappointed me. I won't be back, and I'll be recommending that people avoid this restaurant. It's a pity, as the food is truly delicious: it's just not delicious enough to be worth spending two days stuck at home feeling terrible.

期待咗足足兩個月既意大利麵工場探訪,終於喺呢個星期日實現到!中環呢間分店位置唔難搵,搵到PMQ正門既對面,見到好似意大利海邊餐廳既裝修就係!星期日既下午我地可以試到呢個brunch餐單!原本以為係三揀一既pasta,點知原來餐單上面見到既所有前菜、意粉同甜品都有得食🤤餐廳入面係open kitchen,大家可以望住自己order既意大利麵點樣由麵粉變成麵條沙律用料好新鮮好清新,啲番茄好開胃手打肉丸比較鬆散,但個番茄汁好好味!主菜有三個pasta,第一個係波菜羊奶芝士雲呑!呢個羊奶芝士夾心非常濃烈,可能唔係人人受到🙈第二個大蜆意大利麵係今日既主角之一!終於試到佢地既handmade homemade意大利麵有幾好食!麵身超級彈牙爽口最後一個主菜係波菜Ravioli完全食到每一層既麵同波菜夾心,同樣地麵十分彈牙,呢款意大利麵既味道係三款之中我最喜歡的!由於我地有兩個人,可以試晒兩款甜品!第一個係tiramisu!蛋糕同咖啡同芝士既味道十分平均最後係Panna Cotta,奶凍既面頭有resberry同coconut,好有驚喜

今日老婆又出嚟中同我食lunch,佢一係就幾年先出嚟同我食一次lunch,一係就連續幾日同我一齊食。我第五次嚟呢間 Pici。第一次去咗灣仔嗰間,個印象幾差,嗰啲意粉鹹到傻咗,同啲侍應講佢完全冇反應,冇做任何野。幾個月之前我盲舂舂自己走咗入去呢間PMQ對面嘅餐廳,試過之後覺得幾好,同老婆講佢先提返我呢間就係我哋之前去灣仔嗰間嘅分店。之後我有自己去,亦有同同事去。我個人鍾意啲香口野,所以每一次去到都會叫 lasagna 千層麵。今次去到竟然冇 lasagna,由於我對意粉嘅認識唔係好深,所以我就問侍應餐牌上啲意粉係乜嚟㗎。佢話 cannelloni 同 lasagna 差唔多,我就叫咗 spinach ricotta cannelloni,我老婆就叫咗 tagliatelle。我哋都叫 lunch set $148一位,3個 course,幾抵食。Starter 老婆叫咗個 burrata 我就叫咗個 parma ham cold cuts。Burrata 係 mozzarella 再加一啲忌廉製成。之前比較少食,第一次試都好鍾意。再配上rocket 一齊食,最啱就係而家呢啲悶熱嘅天氣。

Starter 老婆叫咗個 burrata 我就叫咗個 parma ham cold cuts。Burrata 係 mozzarella 再加一啲忌廉製成。之前比較少食,第一次試都好鍾意。再配上rocket 一齊食,最啱就係而家呢啲悶熱嘅天氣。

Cannelloni 冇令我失望,賣相一流,焗完個面竉窿地,睇到都急不及待即刻食咗佢。食落去有好多芝士,但係啲芝士好light,最底下嗰度有菠菜茸。千層麵又唔會林晒,有少少 al dente。老婆嗰個 tagliatelle 辣辣地幾好味,tagliatelle 比 cannelloni 再有咬口一啲。講開呢度嘅意粉,佢哋係手做嘅,仲有一位姐姐係counter裏面即席表演做意粉。

甜品我叫左個tiramisu,我老婆叫咗個 pinna cotta。我比較少食甜品,所以唔特別評論。

講返佢嘅裝修,佢都有啲特色,同灣仔嗰間Pici 都係一樣,門口有啲枱係半張枱係室內另外一半係室外,令到有一個好開陽嘅感覺。裏面嘅裝修又係有啲意大利 local 餐室嘅佈置。你會見到一啲舊嘅相、小擺設、書、同埋一啲意粉做 theme 嘅poster。

侍應嘅服務態度都幾好。我影相嗰陣時,其中一個侍應仲玩住咁做咗個勝利手勢,想入埋鏡。仲有佢哋係唔收10%服務費。

今日終於小編衝出元朗!去左中環同大家搵好西食。今次既主角,就係一間叫做Pici既意粉屋,佢最著明既記係手工做既意粉。首先介紹下前菜先,我地叫左Beef Tartar同埋肉丸。Beef Tartar就由芝士,生牛肉,同埋磨菇組成。牛肉好有嚼口,但又唔難咬,連埋d芝士同磨菇一齊食,好開胃。而肉丸就十分出色,肉唔會太乾好難入口,而且入面有薯蓉,令再佢好滑口。蕃茄好甜,好新鮮,就算就咁飲d汁都可以。主菜就叫左海鮮牛油果意粉,黑松露意粉同意大利雲吞。海鮮牛油果意粉係有蜆肉,有小小失望,但係蜆肉幾厚,冇咩調味令到佢保持左鮮味,意粉就有十分大量既牛油味,好香!最出色既係呢到既意粉做到好似拉面咁,真係好彈牙!黑松露意粉就算我之前係taste of hk既pici攤位試過,我地都決定翻炒。因為佢既黑松露醬好香,但又冇平價黑松露果種汽油味。黑松露亦都十分夠料。最後就係意大利雲吞,我地係親眼睇住佢猜皮,放粉,打蛋。重點都係d皮,彈牙到好似食緊拉面咁,一切開蛋漿流哂出泥。可惜冇咩肉碎,同埋得兩舊。不過整體上呢間野都可以得閒再泥下,因為我地食佢既套餐,每人$280就有兩個前菜,三個主菜同兩個甜品,兩個人食就夠哂

PICI .朋友介紹嘅pasta bar最近聽講都幾hit所以就一行幾人去gathering食晚餐。週末嘅時間邊到都好多人,無得book枱唯有排隊,六點開始排,朋友都一個一個黎,最後齊人就入得,用餐時間係90分鐘。.室內裝修都幾通風,兩個大窗,基本上係全開放,bar枱都係開放式廚房,氣氛幾好,幾有互動,地理位置係好易搵,係對正pmq隔離。大家都唔拘謹咁講笑傾計,無個種貴價餐廳嘅壓力。.無影到餐牌,但大概都係100-160蚊一個pasta,starters就100蚊樓下,甜品我地揀左tiramisu!好好食啊,好滑好rich,如果上層朱古力粉可以加多d就好~ 意粉全手打,好有嚼勁又份量剛好(女仔的話,男仔應該唔飽)我地試左幾款都各有千秋,Orecchiette 唔會太粉團,青口tagliatelle 海鮮味十足,松露個款都有香濃嘅松露味。.Pasta bar呢個概念其實都幾貼合意大利人,記得去過米蘭淨係比酒錢就可以免費buffet(pasta居多)嘅經驗,其實都係飲下野,傾下計,食少少野,唔係求食飽。過左個好快樂的夜晚。.

無影到餐牌,但大概都係100-160蚊一個pasta,starters就100蚊樓下,甜品我地揀左tiramisu!好好食啊,好滑好rich,如果上層朱古力粉可以加多d就好~ 意粉全手打,好有嚼勁又份量剛好(女仔的話,男仔應該唔飽)我地試左幾款都各有千秋,Orecchiette 唔會太粉團,青口tagliatelle 海鮮味十足,松露個款都有香濃嘅松露味。

Pasta bar呢個概念其實都幾貼合意大利人,記得去過米蘭淨係比酒錢就可以免費buffet(pasta居多)嘅經驗,其實都係飲下野,傾下計,食少少野,唔係求食飽。過左個好快樂的夜晚。

中上環都有好多西餐廳,朋友早幾日試左依間餐廳之後,話想叫埋我去試。佢位於鴨巴甸街,都近地鐵站但要行一段斜路。LUNCH時間黎好彩朋友十二點黎攞定位,因為過左一陣己經好full 睇完個menu 都幾抵食,一個starter 加主菜 加埋甜品都係148 STARTER叫左個 andrea’s cold cuts , 分量好多,加埋芝士味道都幾好,不過一個人食哂成盤就咸左D,兩三個人share 就唔錯。 依個係Burrata 主菜叫左個tngliolini ,黑松露好香好好味,咸味適中,依個有驚喜。 另外,叫左個classic lasagna,熱辣辣,味道都唔錯,但係就咸左DD 甜品就tiramisu 偏甜,其他都唔錯。

生日前幾天,朋友們特別選了這一間意大利餐廳為我慶祝,說是滿出名而需要排隊吃的一家餐廳。當天大概7點左右去到,門口已經有一班人正在等候,因為餐廳沒有預訂,所以我們只好大概等了30分鐘左右入座。餐廳位置在中要PMQ隔壁,餐廳裝潢簡單,開放式廚房可以拉近廚師和客人的距離。店員會先送上麵包。我們首先order了一道前菜Burrata Cheese, Mozzarella 和火箭菜的配搭,很少會有出錯的機會吧!第二樣是Parma Ham,最初害怕沒有時蜜瓜會很鹹,但幸好Parma ham不太鹹,味道滿適合這樣吃。接下來便是主菜Orecchiette 和 Classic lasagna, 這兩道主菜滿滿的芝士香味,前者像沒有涵的雲吞皮但係口感煙un,後者便是平時的肉醬千層麵。而接下來,店員突然唱著生日歌,為我們送上點上蠟燭的tiramisu,感覺非常窩心!總括來說,餐廳環境不錯,店員態度非常好,食品雖然種類不多,但味道不錯,相信下次會再來光顧!

I know I said the central pici was shit last time. I went back on a Friday and it was AWESOME. I hope my first visit was the only day that they messed it up. The 👨‍🍳chef was here this time we went and YASSSS to this🍝 RAVIOLI CARBONARA With 🥚egg yolk inside. They totally redeemed themselves with this 💣BOMB!! Al dente on the outside, and rich and complex flavor for the inside. The truffle pasta was also much better - at least its not hard and the sauce was fine. That’s what I expected from pici!!!

Headed to Pici with a few friends. Had seats in the outdoor area, it was nice and warm thanks to the heater and the plaid. We have all ordered a different dish, and conclude the taste is - WONDERFUL. But, portion are way too small... Had to order dessert, was somehow also delicious. Service was fast, great, very friendly and welcoming staff. Regarding the pricing, It’s worth the quality of the food. The pasta are fresh/house made and it makes all the difference!
