I actually came here a little while back, specifically for lunch. I came to catch up with my friend from high school who works in the area.
This part of town for lunch actually seems pretty competitive, since there are a lot of people based in this area. Fox is more... one of those places you’d go for a full hour lunch instead of a half hour lunch. It’s not like food is brought out slow or anything, but they’ve put more effort into the interior design of this place, so it doesn’t really make sense to rush through your lunch.
I ordered the burger, which came with fries. Not bad, but honestly I don’t remember that much about it. The price came out to be around $150, so about right imo for a place like this.
One weird thing that happened here was that I happened to be holding a coffee from earlier when I walked in the store. They were adamant that I couldn’t keep it with me at the table when I dined here, so they told me they would hold it for me at the bar while I ate, and would give it back to me after lunch. I understand having a policy where you have no outside food, but I thought going this far to police the policy was a little much- it was only a half cup of iced coffee, not like a full course meal. Also, even if the policy is strict, just tell me not to drink it while at the table and I’ll follow the rule. HK people are fairly rule abiding people, so I think you could trust us with at least that much.
