The best meal I’ve every injected into my body. you must try this location. extra note the customers who attend dinner here can be very funny and loud. interesting stories told between a luxury blonde woman and a Asia man with white t shirt, he is all about plans. I wish I could meet them again in a restaurant to listen to their conversation. amazing full 5 Star. Have a good day.

Great atmosphere for a cosy yet relatively exquisite birthday celebration. Welcomed by friendly receptionists and service staff. Interior design is spacious, with a well stocked bar. Tables are not packed which is a bonus given the current public health situation.

Each table comes with fresh tomatoes and lemon for you to make your own salad. A new and certainly interesting experience! Bread basket comes with regular or wholewheat bread, and butter upon request.

Started with the fried baby squid, which was certainly fresh but not a huge “wow”.

For mains, we came for the (1) Roasted Baby Chicken Marinated in Lemon which has been highly recommended by all friends who have visited LPM, and (2) Grilled Lamb Cutlets with Smoked Aubergine. Lamb cutlets did not disappoint, soft, tender and cooked to perfection (medium rare). Chicken was well charred with a delicious sauce, but the meat was slightly tough for a “baby chicken” and perhaps too salty.

Also ordered a side of sautéed brocollini, nothing to complain about that.

Highlight of the meal must have been the dessert - French Toast with Spice Ice Cream. Crunchy on the outside, caramel on point, with soft centre. Delicate flavours in the spice ice cream.

If you don’t want a scene for your birthday, you can request the staff not to sing. If not, you’ll have a decent sized group celebrating with you! 🎉

另一個咪我哋揀咗燒春雞。上來嘅時候非常新鮮熱辣。而且seasoning都做得非常之好!成件事真係好香。特別一讚就係呢隻燒春雞肉質非常多,裏面嫩到不得了!而個雞皮燒得好香脆!

Dinner. Took ages to get properly seated. Must have finished at least a bottle of wine by the bar. Menu looked interesting. In summary, yummy meal. I would suggest requesting a table on the side (more peaceful), as opposed to sitting right in the middle of the dining hall.

Restaurant week by diningcity

Tried this fancy and beautiful french cuisine on the last day of restaurant week.
I have always wanted to try, and finally it comes a chance with such good deal, $488 pp for 3 courses dinner set.

What we ordered:
Starter - snails with garlic butter, thinly sliced octopus with lemon oil
Mains: pork with chimichurri, lamb cutlet (added $98 for this)
Dessert: cheesecake, thin crust apple tart with vanilla icecream
I also ordered their signature french toast which is not on their restaurant week menu.

I love the snails so much, I pour all the garlic butter on the bread, it was so so good!
The sourness of the octopus was perfect for my liking, a perfect dish as a starter.
The lamb was super tender and juicy, literally is the best lamb cutler that I ever tried. The pork was just so so though, it was a bit too tough and chewy in the centre, which I expected would be more tender.
Last but not least, their desserts were all amazing. MUST order their french toast, you shouldn’t miss it if you come to LPM, the best french toast ever, so soft and tender inside and love the caramelised crust! The cheesecake may look dull and simple, but it taste so good, so smooth, and not too sweet. The apple tart was not as mind blowing, but still not bad. If you only have little room for dessert, go for the french toast.

They also have a variety of wine/cocktail choices, I was quite surprised about the price range for the wine, there are lots affordable choices, relatively cheaper than what I expect from such fancy resto.
I ordered 1 carafe 500ml of white wine for $200 only.

Overall, I think LPM is such a decent place to go for a date/friends birthday gatherings, great service, authentic and yummy food, and nice environment.
