I was recommended by many friends to try Bonheur and I went there for dinner with my family last nite...I will say their food is unbelievable!First, I would like to give them credits on the bread basket. The cheese bread is very yummy and I couldn\'t help myself eating more and more. I was recommended by many friends to try Bonheur and I went there for dinner with my family last nite...I will say their food is unbelievable!

First, I would like to give them credits on the bread basket. The cheese bread is very yummy and I couldn\'t help myself eating more and more. Yet, I have to stop at some point otherwise I would definitely be stuffed and couldn\'t take the regular course.

I just went to Felix @ Peninsula Hotel last week and I tried the pan seared foie gras at both locations. I can say the foie gras at Bonheur taste much much better than Felix with crispy outside and a juicy centre. Great job!

The only \"disappointment\" went to the main course - prime rib-eye. The quality of the beef was fine yet I prefer a much stronger taste of BEEF...I used to eat, the American/Canadian beef...oops

As others suggested, the dessert @ Bonheur is amazing...mille feuille of mango, souffle, chocolate lava cake. They have added a new \"Blueberry mascaphone timbale\" to the dessert menu. I have tried a mouthful and the taste is very interesting...okay I mean interesting in a positive way. It\'s very different to the usual blueberry cheesecake or so...it tasted a little bit like a mix of jello & pudding...worth trying it anyway.

It\'s an excellent dining experience @ Bonheur and I highly recommend everyone to try this restaurant. Pls bring your own wine cos they don\'t charge any corkage...wonderful =)

I m a regular goer since its opening more than 10 yrs ago in one of the old lowrise building near the escalator in Central. For all the years, food is so consistent, wine is still cheap compare to the rest. The signature dishes are the lamb rack, foie gras, lobster bisque & Naponlean. Great place for gathering, Great restaurant to take your guests, Great price for the quality and sevice! Highly recommended!

昨日是公司的X'mas Party,就去了這間餐廳。以平日價格$330 for 3 course and & $360 for 4 course dinner,個價錢都唔錯。頭盤我選了煎鵝肝,好香口,好食。同事選的大蝦Caesar Salad都唔錯。但另一個Spanish Iberico Bellota Ham, Raclette Fondue就麻麻地,相比以上兩款份量奇少。湯我選了野菌湯,好味。海鮮湯同事話d咪好濃。主菜係美國牛扒,七成熟,無筋,肉質嫩口,好食。但我老細話羊扒仲好食。最後個甜品係我最冀待,因為一開始餐廳侍應話佢地的甜品係所有客人最喜歡食旳。咁我地就要了朱古力心太軟,blue berry cheese cake,及芒果拿破倫。出事啦‥所有甜品都唔掂‥大失所望。朱古力心太軟: 所有有叫這甜品的同事包括我自己,都食到咸味,重係好重。問個侍應,佢個係牛油在面。八,九成係佢地用左有塩牛油做的。這是不應該。係要用無塩牛油。blue berry cheese cake:同枱同事叫了,食了兩口不吃了‥我試了後,發覺佢全無口感,無芝士味,應該係鮮忌廉和cream cheese的比例不對

朱古力心太軟: 所有有叫這甜品的同事包括我自己,都食到咸味,重係好重。問個侍應,佢個係牛油在面。八,九成係佢地用左有塩牛油做的。這是不應該。係要用無塩牛油。
blue berry cheese cake:同枱同事叫了,食了兩口不吃了‥我試了後,發覺佢全無口感,無芝士味,應該係鮮忌廉和cream cheese的比例不對。
芒果拿破倫︰我另一位同事話d芒果好酸,同食完後個口好痕。應該係d芒果太生了。
希望此餐廳能在甜品上多多改善。

20071006返工日的中午太難訂位,就算訂到位子,也總是嫌人多嘈雜,晚上太貴,周日不開門……只有上述時間,才能安靜感受,那淡淡的日光影,清清的杯盞聲。午餐的選擇其實不是很多,羊架、肉眼扒、魚柳、義大利飯……五六款,沒有最愛的黑豬,有點失望,點了一個“Fish of the Day”,不過不失吧,似乎前一晚在Irish Pub的那件更creamy一些。前菜不錯,選了鴨胸沙律,是薄切的靚鴨胸,不是普通茶檔或超市都給得出的那種。走的時候也還沒有滿座,但已經開始覺得炒,始終是室內裝飾上差了一步,吸音做得不夠好……

友人約在此處午膳.坐下先上一盤tomota focaccia, 熱辣辣, 好軟熟appertizer(smoked salmon salad)/onion soup 任擇其一.我們兩人都選了salad.三文魚都好新鮮,分量都多,個dressing 如果有得揀vinegrette就更好.main course 友人要了lamb chop (medium rare)($138), 試了一口, 十分嫩滑, 有羊味.我點了rib eye steak (medium rare)($98), 一樣十分嫩滑, 五成熟拿捏得十分準確.只是兩個dishes的配菜及sauce 沒有分別.dessert要了mille-feuille with mango ($48) 同心太軟with coffec ice-cream ($48). 前者的確十分出色, 酥皮不油不膩(我覺得有少少似焗到好鬆化既麥芽酥), 配上大量生果和custard,very gd! 心太軟如果配vanilla ice-cream 效果會好d.雖然份量不算多,但味道好好. 只是侍應上菜的速度實在快過龍,似港式(茶)餐廳既速度,如果可以從容番d

It's been a long time since I last got so excited about food in Hong Kong. The foie gras melts in your mouth while the seafood soup is just like the ones you get in France. The rack of lamb is sooo succulent that you can't resist ripping every piece of meat off the bone. For dessert I had a chocolate mint souffle. Wow, what an experience!! It's so light and fluffy, full of chocolate while the mint aroma is just right to balance the sweetness of the chocolate. HK$318/person for 3 courses, HK$348/

我對西餐要求特別高,因一般價錢都比中餐貴。試過book兩次星期六都book唔倒,於是今次一星期之前訂位,佢都話要6:30入座,8:30交枱。算了,唯有早些食啦。裝修簡約,枱與枱之間不算太近。一切set up都是fine dining style。先是sparkling or still water,接著wine list 超過50種酒,價錢由216起,都算合理。Menu更是非常豐富,3courses 318, 4 coures 348。西餐我永遠最喜歡都是它們的entree, soup & dessert。Bonheur 的entree 有6款選擇,我們選了煎鵝肝,parma ham & mushroom soup。鵝肝入口即溶,超新鮮。Main course 我們叫了charcoal-grill lamb steak,pan-seared Pigeon with risotto & fish of the day snapper。羊做五成熟,乳鴿肉質非常鮮美risotto也適合亞洲人食因夠熟。甜品也有8款選擇之多,我們選擇了souffle, cheese cake & napolea

主菜方面,有豬有牛有羊。我不太喜歡豬肉,只覺黑豚肉質鬆軟,味道方面友人認為沒有一般豬肉的臊味,值得推介。安格斯牛上檯時已被分成三份,但似乎過熟了,味道亦不突出。羊架就剛好半熟,質地又軟又嫩,好味。不過三個主菜的醬汁和配菜都差不多,我覺得可以加多點變化。

甜品時間,Ginger souffle被端上檯時已塌下,叫人心裡打個折扣,幸好質地尚算鬆軟。友人落單時吩咐「加薑」,味道果然夠勁道。Butter pudding的牛油味頗濃,質感rich,明知每一口都充滿脂肪和熱量,但仍忍不住要快快把它幹掉。Warm chocolate cake上檯時,朱古力漿已從蛋糕底部肆無忌憚地湧出來,應該是故意製造這樣的效果吧?對於並非朱古力狂熱份子的我,覺得味道剛好,蛋糕本身亦外脆內軟。另追加了Mango mille-feuille,酥皮非常脆,但芒果帶酸,而且用上cream而非custard,不對我的口味。

餐廳雖不收開瓶費,但紅、白、檳杯都齊備,當晚所見幾乎每檯客人都自携酒水,好不熱鬧。菜式整體水準不錯,價錢亦可接受,可以翻兜。

Arrived the restaurant at 11:45 today to get an “early-bird”lunch. Request of the paper menu was rejected by the waiter as he mentioned that the printing has not yet been finished. Arrived the restaurant at 11:45 today to get an “early-bird”lunch. Request of the paper menu was rejected by the waiter as he mentioned that the printing has not yet been finished. So after the waiter told me verbally the set lunch menu, I ordered my lunch set (deep-fried soft shell crab salad + grill Australian Lamb chop + hot coffee). I was quite satisified with the food until the moment I paid. I was charged HK$253 by a hand-written invoice with just the amount on it ! I was surprised of such high price but the waiter answered “it is right since you have ordered lamb chop.”I was speechless since I had not read the paper menu at all……At the end, I paid since I believe that such “good “restaurant will not overcharge the consumer.

After visiting the open rice as well as Bonheur’s websites after returning home by now, I am sure that I was being cheated. The lunch menu listed in the restaurant’s website prices at HK$128 only for my set while comments from other consumers having the same set mentioned that it costed them HK$150.

I am now very disappointed since it is not a careless mistake, I have asked the waiter and he was so confident ! If this act is deliberate, I questioned about the ethics of this restaurant and all the staff.

So, beware !!!

All the ratings I gave is compared to other restaurants at nearby serving lunch set at $169-$220 (10% service charge not included), like Via Quadronno and CafCosta at IFC.

今日同魚骨姐聚餐, 我當然要做好功課搵食啦, 見呢間野有咁多個笑臉就膽粗粗嚟試下.Menu有4種main course, 有lambchop,石斑魚,seafood pasta + 黑豚. 由於早兩日先食完黑豚, 所以就選了石斑魚了, 一點好菜waiter哥哥就好快手送上麵包,個包好鬆脆又香仲有好多芝麻好好味, 之後就到appetitzer..嘩嘩好正啊係軟殼蟹沙津, yumyumyum, 加埋個source正正之後就到魚了, 個魚外皮煎得好香又脆而且個汁又酸酸地勁醒胃,之後未食到一半waiter哥哥就送上coffee了, 攪到我好似好趕咁, 如果可以節奏慢慢小小就好了(啱啱隔離枱都投訢仲咩咁快上drink). 埋單$95+10%, 以食物,環境及中環價錢就真係幾抵,起碼唔洗行上去soho. 唯一遺憾未試d甜品, 搵日再嚟過先得.

樓下5/F環境好過呢度…. 呢度黑沈沈…fusion 光猛好多..頭盤係蝦沙律加wasabi汁.. 幾惹味Main course 我叫咗scallop rositto …. 唔….講唔上難食但一定唔可以話好食..D飯唔夠香..我自已都整過seafood rositto …. 好食好多lor !

20070605如果在左近返工的,lunchtime來這裏又真是一個好味兼穩鎮的選擇,只不過需要提前book。裝修是帶一點點的殖民地風格,足足一面牆的木門窗將用餐區分成兩個,我和另外兩個朋友坐在外面,向街外則可見樓下“五樓廚房”的露台花園景致,向內望嘛……一窗之隔坐著一位女士,不知樣貌如何,但當挑花的白窗簾時不時被風飄起一角,便見到她的纖纖素手,優雅的搭在茶杯邊緣,嗯,也是一景:)我們一行三個女孩子,點了差不多的東西,3 course,95元加一,考慮埋味道,真是……夫複何求。面包是homemade,上桌時很暖,麥香之余,裏面還藏著小小的一片片腌過的洋蔥,絕佳。前菜是傳統絕配的帕爾馬火腿加蜜瓜,點綴以烤過的幾粒小番茄,以及大量新鮮生菜,面頭少少香草碎,更添了一重層次。主菜是是日推介的黑豬,伴碟有些荷蘭豆、西蘭花和薯條,一試之下,所有人都贊不絕口,對我來說,是一洗對豬扒的偏見,也可以有這樣優雅豐腴的口感與味道……餐後的咖啡也好。不過時間所限,沒有試到甜品,不能不說是一個遺憾,見到隔壁枱的芒果拿破侖,只是那賣相,已經滿分了:)
