Bought the most expensive thing on the menu: beef brisket duo of two types 坑腩 and 崩沙腩, which have a large amount of sinews, fat and soft meat of the brisket. I imagine it's the equivalent of the "point" or "deckle". Soft, fatty melt in mouth with strong pungent soup flavor. For a bowl of specialized brisket, $230 is not cheap although you can get a bowl of beef brisket with noodles for about $60. We ordered for takeaway and only wanted the meat. If you eat on site don't expect a cosy affair, just enjoy your noodles on a round table sitting on round chairs perhaps with other strangers at your table a la typical local noodle shop. But the food is excellent.
Love this no frills restaurant, I'll always come back for my brisket fix.
