話說當年小時候曾經跟長輩到此一遊,如今一想回味不已,未有想過友人途經此處竟買來加餸,可以重拾當時此刻,喜出望外!甫打開盒子,雞香油香馬上直接湧上,已經使人迷醉!雖然由外賣到家已經歷一段路程,但熱度仍然保持,並非只是微溫。美味的炸子雞,雞皮又脆又香,連著少少脂位,甘香得令人無法抗拒!雞肉柔嫩有汁不在話下,更利害的乃是調味完全滲到入雞肉,滋味不凡,我們都欲罷不能!從外層到中間的雞肉,啖啖都是極品。多年後再食,依然不覺有任何失色。

母親節斬料加餸。經過美孚,見到呢間舊式燒臘店有不少人流,應該唔會差得去邊。見到店外有炸爐生炸乳鴿,$55一只,頗吸引,就決定買嚟加餸。店員會將掛起風乾嘅乳鴿,即場放入炸爐炸,睇住啲鴿慢慢變色,香味又不停飄出嚟,已經流口水。至於味道,外皮仲係丁丁脆的,鴿肉頗嫩,而且有肉汁,整體味道足且微微偏咸,所以唔使點淮鹽。

過年過節,去左呢間老字號,買左啲燒味招呼親朋戚友,原本佢嘅炸雞幾好食,但近來卻越來越咸,所以今次唔買炸雞了,只係買左一隻燒鴨同埋三隻炸乳鴿,再加左啲燒腩仔同埋半肥瘦义燒,其實之前都未食過佢嘅燒鴨,估唔到價錢都唔會話太貴,$140已經可以買到一隻,而且都幾好食,炸乳鴿而家已經賣到$50一隻,雖然味道OK,但略略貴左啲,燒腩仔斬件size啱啱好,皮脆同時肥瘦肥瘦相間,嗒落口都唔錯,半肥瘦义燒普普通通,冇乜特別,周圍街市冇開檔,買燒味都OK嘅。

Sister in law offered to cook for 6 people last weekend and told me to get some BBQ meat at this old fashioned BBQ meat shop nearby her home at Fei Foo.Went there around 7PM and there few about 6 people waiting in line. Only lined up for 5 mins and it was my turn. The staffs there were very friendly. Ordered BBQ pork and soy sauce chicken.BBQ Pork (Cha Siu): requested for 1/2 fat 1/2 skinny one, and the “Si Fu” really chose the closest 1/2 fat 1/2 skinny for me. The meat was juicy, but I found it a little too sweet for me. Overall was quite good Soy sauce chicken:Got a full size, the meat was tender and juicy, but the chicken was a bit too fat, so I didn’t try too much of the skin. My wife said it’s quite tasty.Rating: 4/5

夜了回家, 不想再預備晚餐了, 就簡單的在這裡買個飯盒吧. 原來這裡晚市是相當旺場, 大排長龍, 不少客人也是收工後來這裡斬料. 對, 斬料這個文化, 也是香港人很喜歡的吧.叉燒燒鴨飯 $25這裡的燒味飯, 單雙併也一樣價錢, 不是雙併加$3, 價位只是$25一盒, 相當經濟, 今時今日在香港還有$25一盒燒味飯, 還能夠有甚麼要求. 叉燒是燒得幾靚的, 肉質嫩滑, 但燒鴨的肉質只是一般, 比較實.不過還是那句, 那麼經濟抵食的飯盒, 不容易見到了.
