佐敦老牌著名茶餐廳 - 澳洲牛奶公司, 一間成立在1970年的食肆, 有45年歷史, 是和香港人一同成長的回憶, 筆者有一段時間沒有到此了, 因偶然路過此處見人籠不太長下, 便再次光顧。內裡基本十年如一日沒有改變, 人氣也一樣高企, 但筆者近年對飲食的閱歷有點增加, 在此次可以算是對澳牛作重新的了解。招牌菜「蛋白燉鮮奶」和「杏汁燉雞蛋」筆者興趣不大, 炒蛋和多士才是重點。先上叉燒通粉, 都算大碟, 但通粉太腍, 雞湯湯底也咸了一點, 但師傳不明顯, 叉燒切成一小片, 口感一般, 整體水準比快餐店為低。到重點炒蛋,火腿及牛油多士, 牛油多士是一貫高水平, 烤到香口後搽上牛油, 好吃 ! 致於火腿沒有怎麽可評, 常見貨色; 重中之重的炒蛋, 炒蛋加入牛奶及奶油使其更滑溜, 但其下得太重手, 有肥膩的感覺, 有點失望。近年有不少茶餐廳及快餐店同樣相繼推出相近的茶餐, 其有一定的水準, 在今次到澳牛品嘗後了解到後浪強勁有力, 澳牛必須前後相繼, 努力向前才可保持其浪頭地位。

They serve a very local style made scrambled eggs and macaroni soup. Their scrambled eggs are very watery and honestly, i can get the same broth at other places. So i don't really understand the horrendously long lines outside the restaurant. I suppose it's because local restaurants like these are very rare nowadays.

一向很喜歡食澳牛的炒蛋,嫩滑美味!曾經有一陣子,Crazy 到會返夜放工後,立刻跟同事飛的由荃灣出澳牛,為的,就是一個豐盛的早餐!但此情不再了.... 自從不要返夜班,也再沒有動力到澳牛食早餐了~剛巧這陣子放工後要到佐敦上堂,機會又來了~ 今日就跟同事約定,一放工,立刻飛的到澳牛食炒蛋!當年的回憶,全都回來了!未坐定已想好要點什麼啦,不快的話可不行呢~ 今日點茶餐($38)~叉燒通粉只有幾片叉燒,不過通粉煙韌道適中,所以也不錯!多士烘得香脆,厚切的關係,入面是鬆軟鬆軟的,美味!今日的重點是炒蛋,嫩滑而不油膩,很美味呀!當大家吃得差不多時,就可以點餐飲啦!小妹選了熱奶茶,香滑濃郁,水準不錯!食飽飽,就快快讓位,快快閃人啦~~p.s. 很多人都說澳牛的店員態度差,小妹去過不少次,其實也沒有別人說得那麼差啦!! 全男班的店員們,大聲是一定的啦,但未至於無禮貌~ 例如是次同行的朋友,有一位是從未食過澳牛,落單時,當然會比較慢,但店員都沒有黑面不耐煩,還可以啦~

多士烘得香脆,厚切的關係,入面是鬆軟鬆軟的,美味!

I can't say after all the hype of this place that I was impressed. Food was nothing special to me. I had scrambled eggs and toast. Eggs were watery and too salty. Toast was barely cooked. My partner had the set that came with the noodle soup. I noticed in the kitchen on the shelves were rows of Campbell's condensed chicken soup. Sorry but for a restaurant with so much hype about how great the food is, it could use better ingredients than that. 😑

我經常“幫襯”茶餐廳,有一家值得推薦大家一試,這家就在佐敦吳松街附近,店名用了「澳洲牛奶公司」,但實際上該店不只售賣奶製品。這家餐廳沒有其它分店,且店面不大,但從早上七時至收市,全店始終呈現一派繁忙景象,川流不息的人流帶給它熱熱鬧鬧的氣氛。  走進這家餐廳,首先被吸引的是其高効率的節奏與繁而不亂的秩序。這裡的店員全部都具備高度集中力,精神抖擻,所謂“一眼關七",給人醒目、快捷的感覺。縱使來訪的顧客不斷,但在店員的引領及安排下,從輪侯入座至埋單,均井然有序,讓“幫襯”的客戶感覺舒服。只見店員引領客人入座,並安排“搭枱”坐滿“四人一桌”,務必使店內所有枱面能高效使用。餐廳在大部份時間均全場爆滿,一坐下即為你落單,食品在二分鐘之內送到枱面,見你吃到差不多就給你開單,收拾碗碟,此時,你亦要“識做”起身找數,店內十多名員工都是非常繁忙,但秩序又可井井有條,簡直像一部機器流水式的運作。  為甚麼這樣的模式,客人們仍會“幫襯”呢?當然是他們的出品與眾不同,從鎮店之寶的燉牛奶,到每間茶餐廳均有的早餐、常餐,都有其特色。燉牛奶不用多說,早餐的多士、炒蛋,也有其獨到之處,多士比別家厚一點,叫厚切,經烘底後

The first time I came here on a Saturday afternoon, I was greeted by a long queue snaking outside of it. Thankfully, it moved pretty fast and we were able to get a table under 10 minutes. The second time round, I came on an early weekday morning, so I was able to get a seat almost immediately, although it was still filled to the brim. As with typical cha chaan tengs, expect to share tables with complete strangers.
Inside, gruff servers bustle around the fully packed restaurant, which has a classic old-school vibe to it. Expect no-frills service from the easily irritable waiters, who won't hesitate to scold you if you so much as waste their time with questions. If you're an indecisive eater who can't speak much Cantonese like me, do your research beforehand. (As I told my friend and parents, "Grow thick skin before entering!")
While their menu is in Mandarin, you can ask for an English one. Australia Dairy Company offers three set meals with slight variations to each: a breakfast, lunch and and all-day tea set. The first two sets offer eggs (fried/scrambled) with toast, macaroni or spaghetti soup, and milk coffee or tea.

However, their spaghetti and macaroni soups are unmemorable, so if you want to save your caloric intake for only the best, I'd recommend ditching the sets and simply going for what they're famous for: their scrambled eggs.

Both times, I ordered the Ham Egg Sandwich (HKD$19, ~SGD$3.10), which can be toasted for just HKD$1 more. I recommend doing so. Somehow, toasted sandwiches just taste better here!
The Ham Egg Sandwich comes with a generous portion of pillowy soft eggs, fit snugly between thin slices of picnic ham and lightly buttered bread. The eggs were scrambled just right--they were slightly moist, light and buttery.

題外話/補充資料: So, is Australian Dairy Company overrated? Honestly… yes. Their scrambled eggs were perfectly done, I’ll admit, but they weren’t mind blowing. And while the milk pudding was no doubt delicious, the overbearing waiters and hectic environment don’t contribute to an overall pleasurable experience. The moment you’re done with your last bite, your empty plates are immediately whisked away and you’re expected to pay up and leave. When I brought my mum here, I could tell she didn’t like it at all. It was too rushed, stressful and we left feeling not a little harassed. But if you want to experience a typical cha chaang teng setup and service, go for it–it’s worth trying their scrambled eggs at least once.

想試好耐但一直都冇專登來拜訪, 尋日終於試到喇未入到去已經好熱鬧~ 客人同侍應都好多, 來來往往, 好繁忙我地點左茶餐, 炒蛋多士, 燉奶光速落單同上菜, 基本上一叫左就黎, 快到喊 好似整好哂但又好新鮮架喎聞名不如見面... 炒蛋多士真係100分呀厚厚既麵包, 好鬆化, 又夠牛油, 勁香, 蛋份量亦都好多點解可以將平平無奇既蛋整到咁好味既~~食完都有dd飽個餐仲有飲品同埋叉燒通粉凍奶茶好味, 奶味都幾重, 通粉就失色小小喇燉奶亦都好滑, 唔算太甜, 一流呀~雖然貴左dd, 但如果好味就係值啦一定會再幫襯!

We didn't expect the service to be good but went to try the food because the restaurant has over a thousand of positive reviews.....even though the photos did not look appetite at all. The smell was white egg overpowered the supposed to be nice smell of steamed milk. The texture was not good either. We were glad we did not have to queue up.

I do NOT recommend Australia Dairy for anyone. You probably can cook better egg menu. Go to Yee Shun for delicious steamed milk. They have a few branches with one located on a pararell street.

唔鍾意排隊既我,會願意排隊既餐廳,只有澳牛.因為知道入面好快會有人比人鬧走,好快坐得,好快食得,好快走得黎得依度緊係食茶餐,我今次食通粉加蛋多士,蛋多士仲係大大份又脆口,炒蛋又滑.不過通粉就麻麻,始終無乜特色最後食左個鄧蛋白,真係幾正,好嫩滑不過如果係女仔黎到,又好難習慣依度d服務既

熱奶茶又係無得彈,香滑,一點也沒失望, 茶味同奶味都很濃, 但又配合得剛好, 口感又滑!甜得來適中。

有次咁啱經過佐敦, 咁就去澳牛食下囉, 真系要下午茶先好去, 吾使等, 食晏時間就咪搞啦.食物保持手準, 炒蛋滑, 但我最鐘意都仲系奶茶, 好少地方做到哩個茶香, 仲肯用碎冰. (服務員)態度當然保持水準啦叫野食個腦要轉得夠快就預左啦. 哈哈

等位期間伙計撩女客人吹水帶位時就兇男客人「行快啲啦!」這些都是常識吧!唔緊要!用熱飲杯裝凍飲不嬲都係澳牛嘅特色只不過冇諗到啲冰同奶茶嘅比例係 一 比 一!唔緊要!通粉稔到冇牙都食到湯頭求其都是常識吧唔緊要!但我最憤怒係,同我搭檯嘅伯伯好聲好氣唔該前唔該後咁落單,只係講咗句「啊都係唔要涷奶茶要熱奶茶。」個伙記大聲話「你諗清楚先喎!」伯伯都仲笑笑口:「係熱奶茶啊唔該,唔好意思!」個伙計翻咗下白眼轉身講咗句粗口。可能好多人都會話,你唔中意咪唔好嚟食囉。我都好想講,做生意做到你哋咁,做人都到你哋咁,客人都係要排隊、真金白銀地去你度飲食㗎囉,做得咁委屈,就不如唔好做啦。
