Thanks to openrice map search once again we found another great place to eat that so close to home. We have now been to Haylong Bay 3 times in less than 2 months. What an awesome find!Don’t be put off but the tired looking computer mall you need to pass through to get to the restaurant (which by the way is a great place to also pick up cheap computer parts). Thanks to openrice map search once again we found another great place to eat that so close to home. We have now been to Haylong Bay 3 times in less than 2 months. What an awesome find!

Don’t be put off but the tired looking computer mall you need to pass through to get to the restaurant (which by the way is a great place to also pick up cheap computer parts). When you get to your table you have a great people watching view of Queens Road and you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the street below.

Food – They have an excellent selection of dishes, and we’ve been making our way through trying as much as we can. To highlight a few items… Their Pho is excellent, the soup base is very tasty, it’s full of noodles and plenty of beef. They give you chilli and lime on the side without asking. This dish is very filling, so be careful if you’re going to order side dishes to go with it. The two salads, pork neck and shredded chicken are both recommended, very tasty and a good amount of meat served in each. Soft shell crab rice rolls were good quality, the crab was still warm when served, yum. There is a chef special rice roll (not sure of the name) but it’s full of meat and noodles and is super yum. The san choy bau is yum. All the vegetable dishes we have tired are good, the broccoli with braised beef…amazing!

Service – Always very efficient and friendly, similar to the experience you would receive in a local Hong Kong restaurant. Last time we were there they had run out of the vegetable we wanted, so they ran down to Welcome to get some more, now that’s service!

Price – Simply great value for money, maybe they don’t have to charge the same prices as the street level places, but it’s surprisingly cheap for that area and the good quality food. You could easily eat a very cheap meal here if you stick to a set or only one dish, but we wanted to try everything so tend to get carried away.

偶爾會到夏龍灣吃個便飯. 今天埋頭苦幹到連午飯時間都錯過, 眼見差不多二時, 乾脆等一會到夏龍灣吃下午茶.不知是否物價上漲關係, 食品素質今非昔比. 一個越式蝦醬炒飯, 蝦醬的香除了侍應剛拿來時聞到, 吃下去就如一個普通炒飯, 入口有點'鑊氣'. 飯中配料更令人髲指, 除了必需的蛋,青葱和洋葱, 就只有一些無味的扎肉和'蟹柳'. 份量少不要緊, 況且是下午茶, 比午餐便宜十元且送熱飲, 我也不能計較太多, 不過我給三十四元, 要他們用心一點也不算過份吧, 要不然, 我到7-eleven來個叮叮飯好了.唯獨沒變的, 是員工態度依然殷勤, 咸柑桔依然生津.

之前已經幫襯過這間越南餐館好多次,因為覺得佢地d生牛肉河好正…點知每次黎到d質素越來越差…今次和我屋企人再去點知就出事啦!!一行六人叫了五碗生牛肉河,一碟蝦膏炒飯,小食就叫左蝦餅和香茅豬扒,我的屋企人吃這碗牛肉河就覺得有d怪怪..因為覺得佢地d生牛肉唔似牛肉以是豬肉片…但當我們詢問侍應的時候,侍應尷尬回答是牛肉…至於佢地果個蝦膏炒飯…少少蝦膏的味道都無..我覺得似西炒飯多d囉!!!個蝦餅和香茅豬扒就普普通通無咩特別,最後餐飲叫了一杯要補6元的椰汁紅豆冰(味道超淡d豆又超硬超少) ,凍咸甘吉水和柚子茶不過不失 .總結 : 我最唔鍾意係”將貨就價” 其實我覺得做生意要對得人對得自己,如果d牛肉真係升得咁多咁咪加價囉…唔好攪到個招牌都衰埋..咁樣值得嗎? 現在影了兩張相給您們看(因想大家清楚看到d肉所以放左去隻碟)..這些好像是人造肉一樣..一邊似牛..一邊似豬…都唔知會唔會吃死人!!!!所以我地已經列佢入黑名單,唔會再幫襯..!!

雖然不知他是否給多我們兩件,還是米紙卷的尾是不計算的. 但當中突然bonds地多了兩件,真的覺得是意外的收穫,另一收穫就是軟殼蟹米紙卷味道十分好食,米紙卷內裏的配料味道很合拍,配料不會有其中一項突圍而出的感覺,加上米紙包起,味道真的很fresh,很清新. 米紙卷的味道,真的和香茅豬肉撈檬相差很遠.

E) 蝦頭羔鮮蝦湯檬-$45
我這一個香茅豬肉撈檬Set dinner,味道真的麻麻,所以我吃淨了很多豬肉. 但相反我的姐姐order這一碗蝦頭羔鮮蝦湯檬,她真的可以把這碗湯檬吃光,她也有試過我這一豬肉撈檬,也嘆氣地說豬肉真的麻麻地,和這一碗蝦頭羔鮮蝦湯檬很大對比,我也試過他的蝦頭羔鮮蝦湯幾口,真的很濃,很香蝦頭羔鮮味,真的很大對比了.

看見食評一面倒的好評, 便慕名前來吃個午餐。老實說, 四十~五十元一個午餐不算便宜。猶幸配料充足也挺精美。同行點的魚丸湯粉、牛腩米線不過不失, 魚丸味道獨特, 牛腩也夠腍。我的牛肉撈檬也有充足的牛肉。總括而言味道是中上, 不算驚為天人所以一碗粉一杯餐飲=這樣的價格, 也實在不太划算...

看見食評一面倒的好評, 便慕名前來吃個午餐。

老實說, 四十~五十元一個午餐不算便宜。
猶幸配料充足也挺精美。
同行點的魚丸湯粉、牛腩米線不過不失, 魚丸味道獨特, 牛腩也夠腍。
我的牛肉撈檬也有充足的牛肉。

總括而言味道是中上, 不算驚為天人
所以一碗粉一杯餐飲=這樣的價格, 也實在不太划算...

Lunch time on Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday, two of us don't have to wait in-line for seats. Food took around 10 mins then served at our table. Both of portion and taste are good, which i can say they are the best Vietnamese Restaurant in area of Sheung Wan.What we ordered today:1. Lunch time on Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday, two of us don't have to wait in-line for seats. Food took around 10 mins then served at our table. Both of portion and taste are good, which i can say they are the best Vietnamese Restaurant in area of Sheung Wan.

What we ordered today:

1. Raw Beef & Beef Ball Noodles, portion is good, soup is super hot (even bean spout and raw beef are in the same bowl), side dish of lime and chili are came with the noodles.
2. Curry Beef Stew with bread, taste is good, bread is not the one we want, is chewy kind, so we ordered bowl of rice instead.
3. Appertizers, each lunch set came with one free appertizer and hot drink, we had the paper rice roll of chicken and beef, very soft and fresh paper rice skin, and beef roll taste much better than chicken.
4. Lemon Iced Tea, we ordered hot and cold one, $2 more for cold drink, we happy with the drinks cos they did listen to our requested with less sugar. and taste of "tea" is much better than those big chain fast food restaurant.

We will definitely go back and eat again in future.

The restaurant is tucked away behind the computer stores and an Indo mart. The decor is unassuming to say the least, though the window booths gives you a pretty good view of Queen's Road/Shui Hang Hau St. if you're into people watching. The menu was more extensive than I thought, with a good selection of appetisers, salads, veggies, rice, noodles, and a few curry choices. Their specialty as gleamed from the paper place mats are rice paper rolls and to my delight they had prawns, pork, viet pork, soft shell crab, veggies and a couple more fillings to choose from. They also had a mixed selection for those who can't make up their minds. Sadly, the dessert section was disappointing, with 4 choices of sago, glutinous rice, sago with corn in different combos. Drinks and specialty drinks were abundant but at $20-29 a pop, it was relatively more expensive than the food.

We had a spring roll (4 pieces) that came with herbs and fresh lettuce to wrap around with. The skin was light and crispy, the rolls were not greasy at all, and the inside was piping hot and still moist. The lettuce made a fresh contrast to the rolls and dipped in sauce, it was a great way to whet up our appetite. The rice paper rolls with prawn was surprisingly delicious, and I especially appreciated the chewiness of the rice paper. The prawns were cut up into smaller pieces, which means although not looking at spectacular as a whole prawn stuffed in it, it was more manageable in smaller bite size. The roll was firmly wrapped and kept its form after biting into and chewing off it. The kale with spicy sauce (ma lai jaan) was a little salty but overall was acceptable as a large portion of green, crunchy veg. The shredded chicken mixed with vermicelli was a good sized dish, with succulent and finely shredded chicken that was devoid of fat/cartilage/unknown bits of glob. If you have it with the set and add $6 for a cold drink, it works out cheaper than ordering a drink on its own. We gave the dessert a miss and my bf had a viet coffee.

As for service, it was above standard for a place of this calibre. The waitress was polite and allowing us to take our time to browse the menu, also recommending dishes like the rice paper rolls. The waiter was a young man who diligently refilled our cups with hot water or tea, placed an extra dish of napkins for us, and changed our dishes halfway through without being intrusive. Since there weren't too many people there, we took our time through dinner and sat around and chatted for a while longer too without being given The Look. Above all, no 10% service charge, but given the service and quality of food (and so cheap too), you'll gladly put down some spare change.

由於樓下有個港鐵特惠站,嘟一嘟之後由上環入閘慳$2,放工咪行過去,見到個牌寫住下午茶至18:30,咁抵食,廿幾蚊至三十幾蚊有交易,已有小食/粉/飯連野食,上去一試。怪不得下午茶做到18:30,人影都無隻,平都招攬唔到生意,叫左個越式生牛河,味道無乜特別,不過咁既價已經值回票價,起碼無將貨就價先,會再幫襯~~

夏龍灣 is just another ordinary 越南餐廳but the service is exceptionally goodon the day that I try 夏龍灣, my friend was late but I ordered the food alreadywhen my friend arrived, the waiter volunteered to reheat the food for usand the cook add some more toppings to the fried noodlethe waiter is also willing to introduce the food to usfor the quality of the food, it is just ok

這幾天有點感冒,整個人都不在狀態,連吃碗粥的胃口也沒有,趁今天精神稍為好轉,決定行過來上環吃碗越式河粉。這間店舖已開張接近一個月,而且評價也不錯。其實這位置上兩手也是食店,之前做西餐的「自由風味」及再上一手的「小魚鮮全烤館」也有錯的食評,但未知何故,總是過一陣子便結業收場。這裏的午市套餐頗多選擇,由 A-L 共12 款之多,曾聽人說吃越南菜“生牛河”是必食之選,因為它完全體現了最簡單的食物,往往是最難做的道理,嫣紅欲滴的肥牛再加上鮮美的湯底,這才是最美味所在!今日就決定點選這個越式生牛肉湯粉 ($38) 及 凍檸水 (+$2). 這湯粉除了生牛肉外、另有芽菜、生菜、洋葱、香葉等作調味,賣相及香氣都不俗。首先嚐了一口清湯,味道雖不算濃,但也很鮮甜,主角牛肉夠嫩,吃起來不覺嚡口,其他配料也很新鮮爽脆,尤其是那清新幽香的香葉,令整個湯底的層次感和味道更豐厚。據說吃正宗的越南河粉先後有序,越南人絕不會在河粉內加魚露或酸汁,河粉上桌時,只會趁熱把材料如洋葱、河粉、香葉拌勻,然後呷一口湯,讓味蕾準備就緒,同時在小匙內倒一點辣醬,是留給牛肉作調味的,然後再加少許辣椒粒及榨一點青檸汁進碗內,才可動筷

My boyfriend and I had tea in this restaurant today, and was surprised by the warm welcoming and good service. I arrived here alone, waiting for my boyfriend, and at that time, the waiter arranged a window table for me even after I set down randomly somewhere in the middle. Since my boyfriend came late, I ordered 2 tea set (炒金邊粉 and 燒糯米餅 ) and started to eat first. I was worried that the 炒金邊粉would get cold so I asked the waiter to get a cover for it. I arrived here alone, waiting for my boyfriend, and at that time, the waiter arranged a window table for me even after I set down randomly somewhere in the middle. Since my boyfriend came late, I ordered 2 tea set (炒金邊粉 and 燒糯米餅 ) and started to eat first. I was worried that the 炒金邊粉would get cold so I asked the waiter to get a cover for it. The cook who saw that told me it wouldn't be good for the food and suggested that he'd heat it up by re-frying it again. For the 燒糯米餅, i actually realized I ordered the wrong food... I planned to order the "steamed cake". My eyes got wide open when I saw the dish. The waiter (perhaps saw I surprised look), came over and told me how it was baked and about the ingredients. In the end, I figure out it's quite delicious, although a bit oily. I think the 炒金邊粉 is better than many Vietnamese restaurant too.

The service indeed deserves 5

Price is very reasonable! 2 tea sets ~$60.

女朋友最近轉左去上環工作, 接放工之餘, 又要睇下附近有乜好野食. 女朋友同事講話附近開左間越南野, 仲推介話要食米紙卷, 咪上去試下啦.座位幾濶, 一d都唔迫,員工服務幾快手. (至怕手腳慢的侍應). 記得有位落單那位哥哥仔, 每樣餸都會講下食材特色, 唔錯....起碼唔會叫錯餸..叫左客軟殼蟹米紙卷, 沙嗲牛肉飯, 香茅牛肉撈檬, 仲有一個冬蔭公湯.冬蔭公湯 - 超正呀!!! 我叫左個細的, 估唔到都咁大煲. 我地每人可以飲左四-五碗. D料超多, 記得煲內有成五六隻蝦, 又有青口, 湯味勁濃, 惹味!!!最緊要有味得來唔多辣, 女朋友都飲左好多碗.沙嗲牛肉飯: 牛肉大大件, 有D花生味, 幾特別, 可惜唔多辣. 唔係大啱我(下次我一定要加辣), 但係我女朋友勁食LOR, 佢話好啱佢食...見到佢箍緊牙, 竟然咬到肉. 見到佢食到都幾開心. 香茅牛肉撈檬: 一般, 但係勁大碗..真係會食唔晒.軟殼蟹米紙卷: 必食!!!! 食落去一D都唔油. 好有口感. 好有食緊壽司的感覺. 下次我一定會試下其他米紙卷.之後仲叫左2杯跟餐黑珍珠特飲: 好飲, 好多黑珍珠, 好彈牙...估唔到跟餐飲
