Came for weekday lunch. Great food, great service, they come and top up your water. Very cheesy and creamy and rich pasta. Starters are unique. Seating is very cramped, recommend to book. We finished watching a movie in isquare and decided to come for an Indian dinner. There are many places around TST for Indian, but I like Hello India for value for money and quality. We were served our complimentary popadoms. The popadoms were fresh and crispy. Pani Puri ($68) - crispy fried bread with mash potato and peas inside. The spiced sauce was a bit bland and needed more kick! Mango Lassi ($40) - creamy and refreshing. Seekh kebab ($148) crispy on outside, but overcooked as it crumbled easily. Butter Chicken ($118) - Mild and creamy , excellent and similar to the butter chicken in western countries i.e Australia and NZLamb Vindaloo ($128) - Spicy but smooth and no after burn 🔥 Lamb was super tender. We came here to try the omakase menu on offer. The items in the a la carte menu has been significantly reduced from previous years where there was a large range of fresh seafood and skewers. We went for the $468 omakase set.We also added a bottle of sake 🍶 for $198. The first course was a selection of cold dishes: spicy tofu, sliced abalone and white sweet corn. The second dish was sliced octopus 🐙 All dishes were good and typical. The third dish was sashimi white fish with crab meat along with a mini deep fried crab 🦀 which could be eaten whole and super crispy. The fourth dish was an egg roll and a sashimi prawn with fish roe filled cracker. The cracker was not crispy and soggy. The egg roll was overcooked in my opinion. The fifth dish was a steamed egg with foie gras and fish roe. The foie gras was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The dish was beautifully presented. The sixth dish was grilled tofu. It was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The seventh dish was a grilled white fish. The skin was super crispy and the flesh was juicy and moist. The eighth dish was a tempura crab leg and okra. Lightly fried, freshly made and full of flavour. The ninth dish was a clam meat with mini mushrooms in seafood broth. The clam meat was fresh and tender and the broth had a deep umami flavour. The tenth and eleventh dishes was fried rice and seafood soup. There were clams and Chuck’s pieces of fish meat in the soup. The twelfth dish was dessert rock melon, jelly and a sour non-alcoholic cocktail. The entire process took nearly 2 hours and there were waits of between 25 to 30 minutes in between dishes. At the end there is a good variety of food on offer, but the grilled skewer dish of tofu is odd and I would have expected it to be grilled meat skewers. To me the set is not very filling. The restaurant did say they were trialing the omakase set menu and may change back to the menu before. I think I won’t return until it changes back. …查看更多

Came here on a Friday for a few beers, where only Stella and Budweiser are the cheaper beers during their happy hour. To go with the beers we ordered food from the bar menu. For the first round of beers we ordered the Chicago Combo (small size) $198. This consisted of buffalo wings, cheesy potato skins, sweet potato fries and onion rings with dips and sauces. When it arrived it was underwhelming and not value for money (hence did not even bother to take a photo). For the second round of beers 🍺, after the alcohol kicked in 🤪we were able to make better judgment calls and ordered the luxury loaded nachos (small size) $198. The nachos contained 3 types of cheese, olives, jalapeño and guacamole and much better value for money than the Chicago Combo. They were filling, better value for money and complimented the beers nicely. For the third and last round of beers, we ordered the chicken quesadillas $198.These were tasty as they also contained 3 types of cheese, bell peppers and onions and chicken. 4 Course Dinner Set Menu

Booked the 4 course set dinner menu and prepaid $698 excluding service charge. First time to visit since it closed for renovation works a few months ago. No major changes, but removed a wall to open up the restaurant and update the wall decorations. First course of the set menu is selecting the appetiser. We chose the signature Wall is Eat snacks platter with homemade mayo. The platter contains sweet potato fries, french fries, German sausage, buffalo chicken wings, mozzarella cheese sticks and a brie cheese nugget. The snack is perfectly fried and extra crispy. However, this time they didn’t strain the oil properly after deep frying which left a greasy pond of oil at the bottom of the plate and this was sloppy quality control. For the second dish, which was the main for sharing, we chose the roasted spring chicken with truffle mashed potatoes. The chicken skin was super crispy and the meat was juicy. The mash potato was creamy and fluffy, the truffle was not too strong which is good as it doesn’t overpower the mash potato. The third course was a choice of risotto or pasta, we chose the linguine with 🦀crab meat in avocado cream sauce. Major issue was this dish was brought out at about the same time as the roast chicken, so by the time we ate this dish it was warm (we had to eat the crispy chicken first). This dish is one of their signature dishes and has good flavour, with excellent presentation, but not so good eaten almost cold. The fourth course was dessert. We chose the Lemon in Sunflower 🌻 made with Limoncello. The presentation was spectacular and it was not too sweet as other lemon desserts tend to be. This dessert was a good balanced dish to finish the set dinner menu. The set dinner menu includes 2 x drinks up to the value of $58. You can choose to upgrade and pay the difference which we did. I always order the avocado, apple and kiwi smoothie when I come here, this drink is super ice cold and cost $78. It was awesome and I love the brain 🧠 freeze you can get from it. The service is good, they constantly top up your drinking water and clear your plates. The setting of the restaurant is vibrant and has an interesting forrest theme which draws a younger crowd. …查看更多

Ordered the Deluxe set menu for dinner $398 per person plus SC. Basically we decided on the set menu as we couldn’t be bothered to think what to eat. The set menu consisted of an appetiser, main, noodle, dessert platter and drink. As there were 3 of us we were able to select all the 3 different mains to share amongst us. The snack platter arrived first and consisted of a deep fried spring roll, a mango soft shell crab rice paper roll and a Vietnamese sausage salad. This snack platter was a great compilation of the best dishes from the restaurant with no complaints. The 3 different mains arrived after we finished the appetiser.The first main that arrived was the Baked Mekong River Prawns in cheese and mushrooms. The prawns were big and juicy and tasted great with the cheesy mushroom sauce. The second main to arrive was the Vietnamese Crispy Deep Fried Pork Chop. I found the batter very powdery which might be a sign the oil temperature during deep frying was not hot enough. Despite this, the taste of the pork chop was not affected and the coating remained crispy. The third main, and last main to arrive was the Duck à l'orange in Clay Pot. The duck meat was tender and the sauce was sweet with a orangey flavour. It was ok but my least favourite of the 3 mains.Next to arrive was the noddle course, which we chose the A Nam Signature Combo Rice Noodle Soup. The soup both was delicious and contained raw beef, beef brisket, beef tendon and beef stomach. It was very filling and probably the best dish in the set menu. Lastly the dessert platter arrived.The platter consisted from left to right, a Coffee Panna Cotta, coconut ice cream and Black Sticky Rice. The panna cotta had a very strong coffee flavour, the coconut ice cream was refreshing and not so sweet and the sticky rice was tasty but too sweet for me. Again a great selection of the best desserts available here. For the drink, we all ordered the fresh lime iced tea, which was too sweet and I needed to add water to it. Overall, this set is value for money and had a great variety to showcase the signature dishes of the restaurant. The service is good and seating is comfortable and spacious, and this makes it one of the best restaurants in Festival Walk. …查看更多

We came to this newly opened Korean BBQ Restaurant in YMT for dinner. For 3 of us we ordered a set menu of grilled beef short ribs, pork belly and marinated ribs for $880. We also added a side dish of the steamed eggs for $88. The side dishes were refreshing and fresh with refills. The grilled meat was tender and juicy with the pork belly better than the beef ribs. The quality of both meats was good. At the end the staff also help you take the remaining meat of the rib for further cooking on the hot plate. The steamed egg was fluffy and had onion, corn and cheese added. It was tasty and was like sort of a soufflé. We added iced peach tea ($30 each) it was really sweet and had to wait for the ice to melt. Overall, good meal and something different. I like the part where you don’t need to spend the time to cook the meat yourself. It is precooked inside on big hot plate and taken out to your table. Atmosphere is vibrant and lively. The Bostonian is a Seafood and Grill Steak House in the Langham Hotel. It has recently relocated into the space where the Main Street Deli American Style Diner use to be in the lower basement level of the Langham Hotel. We ordered from the a la carte menu despite there being some good value set menu offers.For the appetisers we chose the crab cakes ($320) and lobster bisque ($220). Note complimentary basket of breads was provided with free refill 👍The portion of 3 no. of crab cakes was quite good and there was plenty of crab meat inside them. The crab cakes were nicely fried on the outside giving a nice crispy coating wrapping the delicate crab meat inside. They went well with the tartar and mayo sauce that were offered with the dish. The lobster bisque was creamy and had a strong lobster flavour with some big chunks of lobster tail meat inside the soup. It was hearty and generous portion. For the mains we ordered the:Wild mushroom risotto ($298), the risotto was creamy and fluid without being too thick, the mushrooms gave it an earthy taste and the shaved flakes of Parmesan cheese sharpened the dish with a nutty flavour. The US 🇺🇸 Ribeye Steak 🥩 ($880) - We ordered a medium cook and it came out perfect. Tender and juicy with a rich beef flavour. The marbling of fat on the steak was balanced to ensure maximum taste whilst needing very little fat. There was also a perfect sear on the outside of the steak which gave it a subtle char grilled taste. We chose a black pepper sauce. The US 🇺🇸 Sirloin Steak 🥩 ($880) - We ordered medium cook despite the sirloin being a leaner steak and it was still tender and juicy, but less intense flavour as the rib eye. Having said that, it was a good contrast to the rib eye and the beef flavour was exceptional. We chose the béarnaise sauce for the sirloin. We chose two sides for the steaks which were sweet potato fries ($98) and mashed potatoes ($98). The sweet potato fries were crispy and fluffy and moist inside whilst the mash potato was smooth, silky and creamy and great side dishes for our steaks. Next was dessert where we could make 3 x selections of our choice for $128. We chose the New York Cheese Cake, Tiramisu and a Mille-feuille. The cheese cake was the best among them, followed by the tiramisu and then the Mille-grille, which had a crispy puff pastry. …查看更多

We came to check out the Airside mall for the first time and decided to have pizza for lunch. There was a huge selection of pizzas on their menu 👇We asked the waiter for his recommendation to which he suggested the Wagyu Sirloin $298 which we followed. We waited patiently whilst playing with our nicely placed cutlery and napkin on the table. When the pizza came it was epic, a thin crusted 12 inch (or 30cm in diameter) was huge. Once placed on the table we barely had any room left. The pizza was thin and crispy and the wagyu steak was tender and juicy and went well with the mozzarella cheese, drizzle of tomato sauce and caramelised onions. One of the best pizzas I’ve had recently in HK. The restaurant is small, pet friendly and service is ok. There is gelato ice cream as well for those with a sweet tooth. …查看更多

We tried to go come here the other day in mid August, but discovered the restaurant has closed down. We have been coming here for many years and are sad to see it go as it was my son’s favourite restaurant as he loved the grilled eel rice and the pickled daikon (radish). We came almost every second Sunday for last 8 years until recently when they started to closed on Sundays from this year. Our last meal here was on 15 June 2024 for lunch. We needed to order udon noodles because the rice wasn’t ready when we came after 12pm on a Saturday. This was a sign not all was right here. We ordered a beef udon and a deep fried pork cutlet udon. The beef udon with picked daikon and steamed egg. The broth is simple and the beef was tender. My son always got an extra serving of daikon as it was his favourite. The deep fried pork cutlet udon with picked daikon and steamed egg. The pork was a-bit rubbery, but the coating was crispy and the mayonnaise made up for it. The food is simple and tasty, sort of like home cooking and we loved the setting as it was a nice local family restaurant. Another restaurant in HK bites the dust. Goodbye Sushi Miyuki. The portion is extremely large and creamy and rich. It is very filling. The main I chose the lasagna.Warning ! Due to the use of béchamel cream, ragu beef, pasta and Parmesan cheese, this dish is very heavy and filling. Lastly the dessert. Tiramisu, great balance between coffee and mascarpone cream. Came here on a Sunday for lunch. The weekday and weekend lunch menu is the same, except no free drink during weekend. We ordered the following:Chicken Breast Caesar Salad 🥗$58. This dish was good value for money lots of chicken breast and fresh romaine lettuce. It was delicious and up there with any Caesar Salad from any fine dining establishment in HK. Smoked Salmon Mentaiko Pasta $78. Rich, creamy and filling. They used dried shrimps for the mentaiko flavour. Red Wine Beef Linguine $88. We felt like butter chicken for lunch and came to our local Indian restaurant as we knew it had a butter chicken lunch set ($78). The lunch set comes with soup, choice of naan bread or rice and a drink. The soup is piping hot and is sort of a dal vegetable based soup with spices. It can be quite spicy but great for a cold rainy day. The butter chicken is creamy with generous pieces of chicken. The chicken is not cooked in a tandoori oven and therefore is not as tender and juicy. The dish has a kick and I would say it has a mild level of spice. Strangely, the dish had a few pieces of potato in it, I suppose times are tough in the current economic environment. We chose naan bread to accompany our butter chicken, the portion shown in the photo are two servings. The naan is basic and not cooked in a tandoori oven so it is not crispy or crusty. It is soft and floury and good enough to dip it into the butter chicken and scoop up the sauce. The meal comes with a drink of your choice, we chose a soft drink of Coke No Sugar. This came in a can. The shop is owned by Nepalese owners and for $78 is good value for money, no service charge. …查看更多

Came here for drinks after work on Friday, usually this place is not as packed as the other places in TST and very classy as it is a very nicely decorated cigar / whisky bay. There is an extensive range of wines, cocktails and whisky. We tried a wide variety of drinks and ordered food from the bar menu. This review focuses on the food. For the first round we ordered the Tiffany’s Platter $238.This mixed platter contained sweet potato fries, deep fried fish fillets, buffalo chicken wings and deep fried cheese mozzarella sticks. The deep fried food was cooked perfectly without having any oily residue and crispy on the outside whilst the filling inside was moist and fluffy. The buffalo chicken wings were quite spicy 🌶️ which was to my liking. For the second round we ordered the Japanese Mini Burger 🍔 Set $188.The burgers were made from Wagyu beef and came with chunky cut French fries which you seldom see in HK. The tomato sauce for the fries came in a mini Heinz bottle which was very cute. The burgers were juicy, moist and the buns were soft and warm, there was also a bbq dipping sauce for the burgers incase there was not enough flavour. For the third round we ordered the Japanese Wagyu Beef Sushi $188.We expected, raw beef, but it had been cooked and drizzled with sweet teriyaki sauce. Again the beef was tender and soft. The rice was moist and perfect to soak up the soy sauce and wasabi. Overall, the bar food here is of high quality and consider the price for a 5 star hotel is value for money. Great venue for drinks. It was our first time to dine in this renowned local fine dining Michelin 2 Star restaurant. The restaurant setting, decor and artwork are modern and contemporary. We ordered the 11 course degustation tasting menu at the cost of $1,280 per person. On top of that we paid $90 each for their Signature Dish, the Molecular x-treme “Xiao Long Bao” and a further $480 for one set of wine paring shared between 2 persons. The wine paring included a champagne, a white wine, a red wine and a dessert wine. The chef’s inspiration is taking you through a journey through Hong Kong’s history, nostalgia and culture and theme of the menu was a Hakka CNY. The first dish was the “Hakka Three”, which was served on a rotating plate consisting of tonka bean, tofu, Iberico, bitter gourd, toro, eggplant and obsiblue shrimp. The second dish was “Poon Choi” which was made with an assortment of different vegetables. The third dish was “Yummy Acabas” containing caviar, quail egg and taro. The Fourth dish was “Fish”, containing kanpachi, soy green onion eel fish maw, monkfish liver and pickled cabbage. The fifth dish was “Salty Dragon” consisting of spiny lobster, fresh sand ginger beurre blanc and seaweed. The sixth dish was “Piggy Yummy” which contained chicken, pork stomach, daikon and black truffleThe Signature Dish Molecular Extreme “Xiao Long Bao” for additional $90 was next. Dish Seven 7️⃣ was “Lei Cha” which was tea / liquid containing green tea, sesame, sake, hazelnut, basil, and toasted rice. The ingredients of the tea were displayed on a platter for display only as can be seen in the photo below. Dish nine 9️⃣ were the main proteins where we ordered the “Wagyu Beef Head to Tail” for additional HKD $300. This consisted of wagyu short rib, tongue and ox tail. Dish nine 9️⃣ was the “Pigeon” 8 treasure, plum jus. I don’t really like pigeon due to the flavour of the meat being gamy, however the taste was amazing, the meat was tender and juicy with sweetness coming from the plum jus. Dish ten 🔟 was the first of the 2 desserts “Mui Choy” mustard green, fresh and dry caviar. Dish eleven which was the second dessert was “Nian Gao” mochi, palm sugar, lotus and coconut. All dishes were inventive, well presented, cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The waiters took time to explain each dish and the chefs inspiration behind it. This restaurant is worthy of its Michelin 2 stars and great place to celebrate your special occasion. …查看更多
