this place makes u feel like u can cook, we first want to order the dinner set but was not available because it is the weekend.. so why the hell u keep that menu outside? we ordered the two basic vietnamese choices, the raw beef rice noodle and the pork chop mong plus a fried veggie ajd fried garlic chicken wings...to our surprise, the beef from the noodle was like rubber, no bean sprouts or fresh chili; the pork chop was not properly fried with the fat bit still in white colour; the wings...i understand it was fried with oil but they were literally soaking in oil when they arrive and the veggie was overcooked...and the best part is the free water they gave was boiling hot, undrinkable! but do go cos this experience will make u feel like cooking a noodle at home is more delicious than this crap…查看更多

first, lets talk about the wait, unless you prepare to wait with an empty stomach, this is the place to be, otherwise, do try the joint few store away or macD down the road. the wait is varies, depend how many people you have, but i do think you get your table faster when you just go there with another person, which means a table of 2 is faster.then lets talk about the food, it is good for that value of money, dim sum is dim sum, as long as they are served in hot bamboo container, they taste the same everywhere...dont expect they have fancy seatings, teapot or services, they have nothing. they serve tea in a plastic bottle which i sense if i will get toxic from the reaction of hot water with plastic...u might found youself seating on plastic chair which you only find it from 'dai pei don'...the waiter/runner servies are extremely poor, dont even need to talk about the manner cos they hv none...try it one time and thats enough for it...as for that star they got...i wonder how they manage that as food is so-so(value for money!), poor decor, service & long queue..got me thinking if they bought that star...…查看更多

kfc is just kfc, they are all about the same but this one is different, the meal portion is the smallest, the staff service is the worst, especially the fat male manager(with eye glasses), he has major attitude problem.i had first hand experience with him when i asked for more tomato ketchup packs from him. first time visit is yet another disappointment like many other restaurants in HK. The expectation is big, and the disappointment is bigger...ordered the prawn laksa which doesnt taste like any laksa I have eaten before, it looks like it but taste like some spicy soup, strange...the fish cake in the noodle taste extremely rubbery; prawns with no head makes me feel it is not fresh and only the dried fried bean curd taste normal. i went to have an early lunch on a weekday because I cannot other restaurants are full and I was very hungry. The place was very quiet, only 2 other tables when I walked in.Ordered a raw beef rice noodle with a lime drink and Vietnamese spring rolls.Raw beef noodle - soup taste decent and hot in temperature, beef are over-cooked, cant imagine if I have ordered the cooked beef.Lime drink - I have to pay extra $3 for it, big cup but I do not think it is worth paying $3 extra for it when you go to any local joint for $1 for cold drinks.Spring rolls - I might be wrong but this is the first time I have tasted such a sticky spring rolls which I have to clean my molars after every bite.My bill comes to $54...wished the other restaurants have seats…查看更多

first time visit after hearing or reading about pepper lunch.had the most expense beef steak and salmon rice. Beef was disappointing because it doesn't taste like Japanese steak and with plain white rice on the side, it does not get the hot plate taste.for the salmon, i think the salmon is not fresh as it is too fishy even for a fish lover but the rice is much better as it is served on the hot plate with the sauce providedDisappointed but willing to give it another try next time with the sliced beef rice.…查看更多

i have never went to a Foo Lum restaurant with such anger and disappointment afterward. you never would expected to have visit a wet floor near the entrance near the lift area, especially during the flu pandemic period, either it was toilet water or from fish tank, it was disgusting.service was a big disappointment as the reception lady knows we have a toddler which is under 3 but still put down as a person for tea fee. when we confront, they rudely said it was our fault not to raise up that question and then unwilling to deduct from the bill.…查看更多

I went to buy two 油渣 noodle because I read about it and was highly recommended, $18 seemed fair for a bowl of noodle at the beginning.I have to ordered out(Take Away) and to my surprise, they put the soup with the noodle(not separate) which has already upset me. But I wasnt angry until I open the container to see the noodle, it look disgusting and smelt even worse. I have never, ever eaten such an awful bowl of noodle before. I am quite a regular la pampa customer because I enjoyed a good piece of steak. First of all I want to tell you if you absolutely adore the Japanese Wagyu beef, then this is not the kind of steak restaurant you are looking for. their steak is tender and have texture than wagyu's soft like butter taste.i highly recommend the grilled cheese as starter, it is full of flavour and chewy. steak is the best dishes and if you think coming here and order pasta, then forget it.tenderloin steak is the must have and i always prefer medium rare and the meat stays juicy. u can choose different size of the steak which fits your wallet and stomach.but i can tell u this place is not cheap but reasonable in price, do check it out!…查看更多

before u plan to go there, u need to forget 1) this place is not kfc. 2) plan a closest route to a Chinese herbal tea shop. 3) bring more than ur usual fast food budget, fast food but restaurant pricelots of varieties of fried chicken, chicken bites, wings, 2 words....americano chicken...unlike u eat fried chicken at kfc or elsewhere, the inside of the chicken is extremely juicy and well spiced, hv to give credit to their frying machine 'auto fry', this machine is fantastic but definitely a warning to high cholesterol...seating is a bit disappointed as they only offer one side bar seat and good for only one party of people(4-5 at most) but u there for fried chicken so its ok.definitely worth tryin for those fried chicken lovers but be prepared of the sore throat after...…查看更多

hv to say after my last 2 visit to this place, i really would think twice about going there for the third time.it always makes u happy to go to a 'all u can eat' resturant and they certainly give you the same feeling.with so many different choices to order but hv to say, even you ordered, they might not come to your table. gurantee dishes will come of course are those filling stuff, ie sushi, fried food as well as the noodlefor those kobe beef, sashimi and other more expensive stuff will always come late, in small portion or wont even show till you paid the billbut then again, wat do u expect, its $150 all u can eat...…查看更多
