We tried the dinner tasting menu at Dim Sum Library, and loved the great variety of food it offered. The meal started off with some of their signature fried and steamed dim sums. The Wagyu beef puff had a bit of a peppery kick, while we also loved the Dandan xiaolungbao which had bursting juices. This Taiwan Eatery located at Tseung Kwan O mainly serves Taiwan Hotpot. They offer a wide variety of innovative soup flavors, including curry milk cap, tong yum, satay beef, Korean kimchi, sour and spicy and many more. There must be a suitable one for you. Each pot comes with different ingredients, and you could order add-ons. They also come with a bowl of rice or vermicelli. I ordered curry soup base, and loved its creamy and slightly spicy after tastes. Their ingredients are of high quality too, with the beef being tender and lean. The vermicelli soaked up all the essences, and was very tasty. My friends ordered tongyum, kimchi and satay and we recommend the latter two flavors. Apart from the hotpots, we also ordered deep fried squid balls and Taiwanese sausages as snacks. Both were delicious especially the latter one that was fresh and bouncy. Ramen from the Zagin Soba company is always the best. I have always loved the chicken soup and fish ramen. Therefore, I was very excited about the new oyster ramen. This soup is made with pork, chicken and oyster. It’s filled with so much oyster aroma. The noodles are delivered straight from Japan. They were fat and look like hofun, but is much chewier. They are best to adhere all the oyster broth to them. Their charsiu is slow cooked and have distinct grilled flavors on the outside, while the oyster is very fresh. It’s taste was on the briny side.
