It is a place full of celebrities as many view on newspapers, but why there are so many famous people around probably Landmark is placed in the center of Central, that's all, the food and service is just so so, come out of vanity, if you wanna try something real good, this is not a place that worths it, and don't think the Cafe is a place for fine dining, the food critics rate it cos the price is close to fine dining.Nothihg specialIt is just ok, quite tender.I think this is the best among all dishes except dessert, the crabmeat is hot and tender.A big issue on these two dishes, linguine . Linguine supposed to be wider than spaghetti, flat like fettuccine and trenette. In wikipedia you will see it's about 6mm to 9mm, the reason why I prefer Linguine to spaghetii is because I like wider pasta, so I asked the waitress to change it to linguine (supposed to be clams spaghetti). But the pasta served was as less wider like spaghetti, and it's soft, a fatal mistake to me that I hate pasta less chewy and overcooked. Reason same as above and the sauce a bit too creamy for my taste.This came to be the last surprise, after the disappointment in main dishes, didn't expect the Cafe would make the dessert more than average. Very thought that Miss B Bakery provides a darling size which serves two - four persons. My birthday cake was served at Aqua ( Please go see my comment of Aqua if you prefer a beautiful night view)No girls could resist butterfly-theme. It is an art collection, mixed with creation and color.Exotic & Intense blend of layered Chiffon with Apricot Compote, Fresh Cream and crowned with Dark & White Chocolate . A bit too greasy and I usually detest but this time I found it so tasteful and unstoppable , the texture of linguine was prepared more than fine, chewy, not too soft, fit my taste and the dressing was too delicious. A must try dish!There were Cod fish ( The best of all, tender with great sauce ), lamb, beef, chicken, etc, very filling for two of us, the taste was good, the chicken was done a bit overcook and firm. A credit to the decoration, decor and atmosphere. The white flowery decor is the main attraction for me to step my foot in this restaurant.Plus the sea view, other than these I go strongly disagree with the cooking skillsMy friend picked the salad without seeing it through, there's goat cheese mixed with the butter lettuce, not everyone likes the smell of goat cheese and I am one of them. Never in my life I didn't finish salad but not this time. Gave up after the first few bites.Tomato sauce, Mozzarella cheese and basil. Defintely Isola wasn't a nice Italian restaurant because she couldn't make the pizza well. The sauce didn't stand out and the crisp wasn't crispy. Heard the Green Apple was a one of the new signature desgins, so I ordered two and turened out to be a big let down. First of all, the ladies offered the poor-quality, fragile plastic forks which snapped easily while cracking the Green Apple cake. Inside, the Cheese was too sour and the fluid texture didn't please us. Three of us stopped after the first few bites and the 2nd Green Apple was left unattended . THe Pink raspberry tasted fine, but it didn't excite me much either.Napoleon , one of the signature desserts too, wasn't as nice as I imagined. The crisp was too thick and not crispy enough. I recommend the Napoleon lovers should go for the one in HK Shangri-La instead, it was the best Napoleon I ever treid.Black Forest. The layers and colors looked so attractive and again it's a let down. Two of the girls thought it was too sour. We wanted something sweet and didn't expect it was a sour journey to begin with.Chocolate Truffle Cake. It was the only tasty cake at Fine Foods. This comes to be the most creative, colorful, delighted cake ever. All girls are happy with the design and the colors, their response : Wow .All Colours of the Rainbow in Chiffon Cake layered with Fresh Fruits and Cream topped with an Arch of Rainbow Marshmallow.The chiffon cake is soft and the cream is light and fluffy, very very nice A small slice of it is simply not enough. Except liquorice, I have tried all 15 flavours. Very nice, crispy macarons with less creamy, rich stuffings . This is a credit to most Asians who like dessert to be light and less sweet,. If you feel too filling then you should go for Peppermint tea. I usually take pics of dessert rather than main dishes, reason to my love for sweet stuff.I have been there 3 times, In my memory lobster Bisuqe was very nice, yet the second time I came I didn't have the "wow" feelings. The food here aren't particularly excellent, the reason to come is more of the decor, romantic atmosphere , nice harbour view with beautiful chandaliers. Good services too.If you come between 7-10 , there will be a harp playing for you. Harp for French cuisine, a good match.This is an excellent dessert. Rarely stylish restaurants don't set minimum charges on Valentine's Day, Zuma is one of them.Receptionist AttitudeI have read all the comments that the staff being impolite, rude, bla bla bla. The fact is the staff is being helpful and nice, the receptionists are the rude one. One of the Filipino-accent _______ arranged the lounge bar while my friend requested the table should be quiet and with romantic atmosphere. Lounge bar supposed to be loud and for mingling purpose, I was pissed off by the arrangement despite the table was reserved as early as in December which the nice window seats were not hard to get.Whern i found it days before 14/2, I used the reason to fight for my benefits, that Filipino replied with "no more dining seats" , I kinda roared to her and she raised her voice and we both act like mad women. At the end, I told her "I must talk to your manager, it's ridiculous that you can't offer a proper dining table when we reserved it in December "I won the fight, the manager being mature enough to handle the complaint. A window seat was prepared and the staff was polite and well-mannered.This dessert is just tooooo gorgeous! Amigo, as one of the fine dining spots , is famous for her services. News about her that the food quality drops, well, I have never tried, so it's my first time to testify the truth, how well it goes for my personal taste I don't eat beef and it's a dish my friend orders. The appearance looks nice and juicy. As my friend is very easy going with whatsoever edible food, can't judge here but i will give a 4-5 for its pacakge.Fillet, my dish. Again, looks very nice, tender and soft. I am stuffed with this one dish. If it's served as a smaller portion I will be more satiafied. The signature choc-coated ice-cream, always my most favourite part. I think it's the best crispy coated ice-cream ever, can't get it anywhere, not even at the restaurants of best rating five-star hotels. If you ask me what draws me to here, I will tell you it's the warm, comfy decor and this ice-cream.At the end, I forgot to take the signature Napoleon Birthday cake. Marie Antoinette's Crave is the most surprisingly beautiful cake i've ever seen. It's right that it longer allows take-away as the marshmellow won't stand the temperature and that will crach the appearance. Inside the sponge cake is soft and nice.
