Great food and decent settings, surpassed expectations. We ordered the diced beef and Gaginang (自己人）fried rice, and they were both excellent. Food came very quickly after placing the order. Came here to have dinner by the promenade with my two dogs. We sat outdoor. It’s a really dog friendly cafe, and they even provided snacks (huge portion) for our dogs, which was great so they don’t have to look at us eat.We ordered the chicken as part of the set dinner. Wrong choice. The sauce was good and the chicken was very tender. But when we dug into the chicken, it was tasteless inside. We even made comparison to the Itamama’s roast chicken and that was definitely way better than this, even though Itamama is more like a 茶餐廳.That being said, the overall vibes here was great. Good music too. Staff was very friendly and attentive. So they deserve some marks for this. Just came here today to try their steak. It was horrible… our ribeyes were ordered medium rare (on their recommendation) and it came medium-well. We also had to ask for water before it’s given.There was a huge cockroach crawling on the wall right beside our table as the steak arrived. We were asked to change our tables. Well I guess the owner really wanted to introduce great pizzas to HKers. We tried ‘Beautiful Chick’. It was topping overload with too much chicken on the top, it doesn’t feel like eating a pizza.The restaurant has a cool vibe though, and the staff pretty friendly. Just came here for lunch today, and dropped my staff pass on the way out. Admittedly, it was my fault for being careless.I called the restaurant to check if they found my staff card, and they replied they passed it to two person claiming to be my colleagues, as they were ‘sitting’ with us. But I checked with my colleagues on my table and none of them took my pass. So clearly, these two persons couldn’t have been colleagues sitting on my table.I then asked if they had checked the identification of those people who claimed to be my colleagues, and the restaurant replied ‘No’. So I asked if this was their policy, to hand over ‘Lost Items’ to anyone just claiming to know the customer. The manager I spoke to said they will take this as an opportunity to review their process.I found it ludicrous really, that the restaurant would handle ‘Lost Items’ so carelessly, without at least taking down the names/ identification of those people whom they have handed my staff pass too.I hope the restaurant management will review their ‘Lost and Found’ policy, and look to training their staff on the proper handling of lost items.…查看更多

Got to see this new restaurant from Foodie, and thought we shud pay a visit.The service was great and the waiting time was not too bad. It’s a small place with about 10-12 tables.We ordered the roast chicken (with garlic rice and fries as sides), chicken wings and the pork sandwich.I must say, all were quite mediocre. Went for lunch buffet today, with an Indian colleague from India. It was a while back since I came here and didn't realized the standards have dropped. The lunch buffet selection was very limited. For the same price, you get much better selection at Jashan or Bombay Dreams. This restaurant should better just face up to competition or shut down.…查看更多
