I really enjoyed the dining experience at Lai Bun Fu. The service was great and food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a crispy chicken with five different sauces, which was really tasty. The skin was crispy and warm while the meat was very tender.The wagyu beef brisket was very tender and the turnips were very flavourful as they were soaked in the sauce. Next was scallops wrapped in a taro crust. The crust was super light and crispy. we also ordered a wagyu beef mapo tofu which was one of the best I’ve tasted with super soft tofu.The Hong Kong fried rice is also worth trying. I’ve always wanted to try 12000 francs so decided to go for lunch today. The food was even better than expected and the lunch set was great value at 135 dollars for two coursesFor the starter, I choose the hummus and taro chips. I went to Blue Brick bistro for lunch to try the famous yoku moku cream roll. I was pleasantly surprised as the mains were really good too! The appetiser was a delicious soup with croutons on the side and a salad I ordered a saffron risotto with scallops and it was really creamy with a great texture. I couldn’t stop eating it!Next up was the highlight! Yoku moku’s cream roll! My friend and I ordered one matcha roll and one original one. The matcha roll had a rich and creamy matcha flavour and the original roll had a very milky and creamy texture. FAB is a great place to go if you’re looking for a good value set lunch in a nice environment. Lunch sets are around $120-$130 for two courses. I had chose a chicken and walnut salad as the starter. The portion was very generous and it was also tasty. For the main, I went for grilled salmon. The skin was crispy and the fish was tender- very nicely grilled! I saw La Cabane’s lunch menu on its Facebook page and it looks really enticing so I went to check it out with a friend. For $140, you can get an appetiser, a main and a drink. You can even choose a glass of wine for the drink! We both ordered the chefs salad as the appetiser and the honey glazed salmon with quinoa and guacamole as the main. Both were absolutely amazing. Apart from being very visually appealing, the dishes get top marks for taste as well. The chef’s salad had cheese and roasted honeyed hazelnuts which were amazing. The salmon was cooked to perfection, it was very tender and had a slight sweetness to it from the honey. The guacamole and quinoa were perfect complements. We were so happy with our mains, so we decided to add a cheese of the day and a dessert. For the dessert, we had a toffee and date pudding with caramel sauce. I was afraid it would be too sweet, but luckily it wasn’t and I loved the texture of the pudding. The lunch is great value and the food quality is excellent. Having heard that this restaurant opened this month, I was excited to go and see what lunch options they had and it didn’t disappoint! The restaurant was very spacious. On the first floor they had booths with cushions, it’s definitely a great place to relax and enjoy your lunch. The second floor is the main dining area and the friendly staff are more than happy to recommend dishes. I ordered the lunch bento box, where you can choose a main, a salad, five grained rice or focaccia and a sauce. I opted for the grilled salmon with pesto sauce. The salmon was grilled to perfection with a crispy skin, while the fish was tender. It went really well with the pesto sauce. I also ordered a small salad, where you can choose two salads out of the five or six salads they have. I went for the spinach and orzo salad and the kale and quinoa salad. After lunch, I decided to pop into this small cafe in Festival Walk to have dessert. The service was not very good as the waiters were not particularly helpful nor friendly. I had originally wanted to try the soufflé pancake and the earl grey soufflé but to my disappointment, both weren’t available. So I opted for the earl grey serradura and the sweet potato molten cake. The serradura had light crumbly layers which I really liked and strong lavender flavours. However I couldn’t really taste much earl grey as it was masked by the lavender. The sweet potato molten cake was better with the warm molten cake complementing the ice cream. The cake had a great texture, with the outside slightly crispy and the inside soft and warm with sweet potato. Overall, the desserts are worth trying but the service could be improved. …查看更多

This cafe is beautifully decorated with dried flower arrangements and beautiful cakes at the counter. I decided to try the blossom pancake after being attracted by the picture on the menu. The pancake was beautifully presented and very picture-worthy with petals and fresh fruit placed artistically on the dish! Fresh strawberries and cream were carefully put between the layers of fluffy pancakes. I loved the rose jam as it was very fragrant and it complemented the pancake perfectly. My friend booked G One Sushi for a birthday lunch. Located on the 18th floor of Lamma Building, the restaurant is spacious and airy, a great place to enjoy a meal with friends. We each ordered a sashimi bowl with a mix of seafood (salmon, prawn, uni and a white fish, a uni bowl and several appetisers to share, such as edamame and octopus with wasabi. The sashimi was really fresh. The uni bowl was delicious and it came with generous servings of seaweed— we wrapped the uni and rice inside the seaweed and it was practically melt in your mouth. I passed by this restaurant and was attracted by its decor and chill vibe so decided to pop in for lunch. The lunch set was great value at less than 110 dollars for an appetiser, a main dish and dessert. For my appetiser, I chose the salad which was made with organic vegetables. The main was a beautifully presented grilled sea bass with fresh vegetables on the side. I was really impressed by the quality of the food and the presentation. As a fan of Pirata Group’s restaurants, I was super excited when I found that Pici was opening in Central. My friends and I went for lunch and it definitely was worth the hike up Aberdeen Street. At 148 dollars for three courses, the set lunch is great value for money and is mouth-wateringly delicious. For the appetisers, we ordered the burrata cheese and Parma ham. The burrata cheese was soft and creamy and went really well with the rocket and cherry tomorrow. The Parma ham was equally tasty and we were pleasantly surprised at how generous the portions were. For the mains, the standout was definitely the lasagne. The cheese was sizzling when it arrived and we could not wait to dig in. The pasta practically melted in your mouth and oozing with cheese. Definitely a must try! We also enjoyed the other pasta dishes- a tagliatelle with beef and a tagliolini with burrata cheese and pistachios.
