抗疫時期，路過餐廳。見有招牌菜酸辣魚，海南雞，同蠔仔粥，就打包外賣試吓，點知好有驚喜！酸菜魚酸得來帶小麻。魚肉亦很多同好滑。🥰蠔仔粥啲蠔都唔算細粒，新鮮得來又有咬口。老公話好香海鮮味。海南雞亦都好滑同冇骨。唔會專登嚟食海南雞，但半隻$60，做配菜一流。呢餐飯三百幾蚊，唔算平，但質素好。一路等外賣，見到好多街坊嚟買。返返屋企睇開飯，先知係新食市。希望抗疫期間捱到過去。💪🏻💪🏻我哋都應該會再嚟。 …查看更多

Came alone during lunch at around 1pm. Only knew about this new shop via flyers but this turned out to be a hidden gem! The space is comfy and trendy. Staff is friendly to explain the menu and chitchat. Food quality is good as well. I ordered the eel rice lunch set. It came with mini appetizers of marinated lotus and salad also miso soup. I quite like the lotus! Eel rice was well made. Crunchy fish skin and just the right amount of sauce so not too oily nor too salty. Rice has good chewiness too. The good - Xiao long bao was superb! Very juicy and thin skinned. Quite easy to break the skin so need to be super careful picking them up. Mapo tofu is normal. Food was delivered quick so good for quick lunch in and out. The bad - the waitress that served me is very inexperienced. The lunch menu is not too extensive but I had to repeat 3 times because she can only write one item in Chinese before starting next line. I think they can consider using numbers to codify the menu, I.e. item 1, 2, before she enters the item into the system for kitchen to process. Walked in for lunch today. The place is hidden in an alley in busy cwb and quiet empty inside. But turns out to be a hidden jam!I ordered thin noodles with pork ribs and little spicy. It was super flavorful. The meat literally melts off the bone. So yummy. Waitress was attentive to explain the menu. Lunch has 12% off and free tea. Suddenly craving for udon so just hopped into the closest udon restaurant. Place was comfortable and waiters courteous. The price was shocking and the wait is on the long side!! But worth every dollar! I ordered a sake chicken mushroom udon. Soup was superb (highly recommend for ppl who like sweeter soup). It has lots of longan, 紅棗，竹笙，that gives it a slightly sticky and sweet texture. 冬菇 was marinated separately with delicious sake taste. Great food at good value. In particular I find the store keeper very impressive in tirelessly handling clients, always with a smile, and providing good recommendations. I have high standard when it comes to Xiao long bao. And this restaurant definitely has some of the best!!I ordered Xiao long bao and den den noodles. Xiao long bao has super thin skin and full of juice! Highly recommend. Den den noodles has very little meat pieces but the peanuts, pickled vege and scallions are so fragrant that they complete the dish.Seating is comfortable and waiters are polite and experienced. It’s a good place if one wants to chill and talk. The place seems to want to present as high class thus justify the higher cost of food. But it is a bit quirky to see water getting charged for hkd 2. Got here around 12:20pm on a Friday before the crowd rushes in. Seated in no time. Unfortunately 35 min after order, the food was still not yet ready. Chased once and discovered they probably missed my order. Chased second time to cancel order and the food arrived immediately. I ordered the seafood baked rice. Presentation was good. Taste was good. Quite a lot of seafood. But the seafood and rice were barely warm. Quite disappointing esp for hkd98 plus 10% without drinks. The crew is obviously over stressed. The waitress while not impolite appears to be frowning under stress. Not so gently putting down food in front of customer. Speaking loudly across the hall to fellow waiter etc. because not enough hands, it’s also difficult to get their attention. The seating space is sufficient to be comfortable. Ok A/C. I may come back again in half year should the restaurant manages to survive. We came here for a celebratory dinner. I had been here different times before, but first time since they changed chef. I quite like the new menu too. The place is super spacious. Working in Admiralty, one big advantage is having two really good laksa places around. Rempah noodles is by far my favorite laksa in HK. From the food quality to the service, all deserve 5 stars. The good - soup is super rich and not spicy. The shrimp is not over boiled. Noodles just the right consistency. Noodles portion is usually small by default but you can ask for free portion at ordering. The waiters are always courteous which is a big plus on a stressful day. The only slight improvements I’d like to see are chairs with back rest (as I have back problem). I’ve always been a fan of 刀削麵。So when I Walked by this shop, I just had to try it out. I was especially attracted to the 上海雲吞溫泉蛋木耳刀削麵 on the menu。The noodle arrived in less than 1 min after ordering. While it tasted ok, was below expectation. The onsen egg was slightly over cooked and not running. Soup was a bit tasteless and with thick noodles that became quite blend. Worst part is the dumplings were not hot! They were precooked and left cold, likely for 紅油抄手。soaking them in the hot soup made it a bit better. For the cost of hkd55, there were only 3 dumplings. Personally finds it quite pricey for the quality. After seating down for a while, I realized everyone eating there were tourists - mainly from mainland and then another family from Korea. They were commenting the foods were great. (Which makes me wonder if I just ordered the wrong dish??!!! ). But personally I don’t think I’m coming back, after seeing a huge bottle of chicken powder at the kitchen window.
