Insanely instaGRAMable food @gramhkg The decor, ambiance, and food at @gramhkg is phenomenal! Gram the gourmet is a new restaurant open in LKF Tower that specializes in modern Mediterranean cuisine influenced by Asian culture. Replacing the Hard Rock Cafe, the interior is supposed to be a club but due to covid, it is now a spacious seating area. Their signature dish is the Cold Angel Hair Pasta with Kombu and Imperial Osetra Caviar and it’s definitely a must try. The cold pasta was delicate and appetizing. We also tried the:- Beef Tartare with sea urchin and clams- Braised Short Rib in black vinegar and mashed potato- Crispy Drunken Chicken with mushroom fricassee-Orecchitte pasta with pork sausage and creamy Nduja sauce - Hazelnut tiramisu- Lemon tart- Personalized cocktails. The crispy drunken chicken was nothing like we’ve ever tried before. The skin was extremely crispy the chicken was so juicy I would come back again just for that dish. Personally I really enjoyed the Orecchitte pasta with pork as the sauce was so flavourful and the pasta was super bouncy! Each dish was cooked with high skill and detail. @katsumotohk it’s so rare to find a meal this good! Katsumoto is another amazing restaurant from @bistroconceptgrouphk (same owners as my favourite @lobstershackhk). It’s a modern Izakaya concept in the food hub of Sai Ying Pun - high street. Obviously came for the signature Australian M5 wagyu sando and we were not disappointed. Served with kewpie mayo, Hokkaido milk bread, and tonkotsu, the beef literally melts in your mouth 🤤. The cheeseburger roll was another one of my favourites. It’s the perfect fusion of a Japanese roll and American cheeseburger. Overall the portions are quite light, and you can order a variety of different things to try. The restaurant is also super vegetarian/vegan and dog friendly. Highly recommend coming for their lunch set as it comes with salad and miso soup! If you’re craving European food @friteshk is the place for you!FRITES Belgian beerhouses present delicious, traditional European fare washed down by one of Hong Kong’s largest selections of draught and bottled Belgian beer.We got to try the baked whole Camembert, steak and frites, and sole meuniere. The portion sizes are huge and the environment there is so lively. Camembert is one of my favorited cheeses and I loved how creamy and rich it was. The steak was much larger than I expected but it was tender and juicy and amazing for its price. The sole meunière was very eye catching. With string lights, potted plants, beach umbrellas, and the street lights below us it really felt magical! Their signature pizza PICANTE was impeccable. Made of mozzarella di buffalo, tomato, and spicy salami, the crust is extremely light and stretchy just like freshly baked bread. For dessert we had the Montanarina fritta which is a strawberry and Nutella dough and it was delicious 🍓 This is the perfect place in central for dinner and drinks above the busy city!
