Had a bit lunch so I came in on weekday around 6pm when the store only has 1 table with almost finished food, and 2 tables came after I sat. Still their coffee takes over 20min to serve. The kaya toast $38 arrived faster, but it was not crispy at all, only the edge a bit crispy but middle was completely soft, epic failed. The pandan coffee $38 use oat milk, it was weird combo, basically the oat flavor covered the pandan. Coffee flavor wasn’t strong either. 好耐冇去利苑，對上一次係疫情時去的，印象中食物都唔錯，上個禮拜又去，但係非常失望😫首先加咗好多價，宜家一個點心平均5、6十蚊，但我最接受唔到嘅係加完價仲仲要勁cut份量，cut到好離譜個種！大家睇下我影嘅圖，$52嘅北菇燒賣係差唔多公仔點心嘅大細！$50嘅煎蘿蔔糕嘅厚度只比筷子厚少少，比人地賣嘅薄一半！$52嘅紅棗膏又係別家的一半size! 仲要係味道方面都差咗好多，最差嘅係鮮竹卷，個皮硬到唔係老人家嘅我都覺得好難咬，燒賣比較多肥膏，本來應該充滿蛋香嘅揚州炒飯唔係黃色、係啡色嘅，只見到少少蛋絲，同埋炒到太乾。蘿蔔糕如果唔係太薄，都夠蘿蔔嘅，腸粉牛肉球正常。成日聽飲食業怪哂港人北上消費令佢哋生意好差，但作為消費者我見到嘅係本地飲食業普遍都貴咗又差咗。我都明白鋪租貴咗飲食業人工都貴咗，但起碼要keep住食物質素令人都覺得值得去吖！同埋老實講，我見到嘅係中產同有錢人收入都下降，所以中高端普遍消費少了（我算係中低產都被凍薪cut bonus😭），本地始終係多數港人的主場，我地多數時間係度生活，如果有錢又有好嘅選擇邊個想去gum 遠北上消費？（北區居民除外）唔該佢哋怨天怨地嘅同時都檢討下自己的質素係咪差咗！…查看更多

Cream sauce pasta with egg and pork- the pasta texture is quite decent but wish it could be cooked a minute longer for a perfect al denté texture. Sauce is nice, pork is chewy and mixing with the Japanese raw egg makes the sauce more rich and appetizing to the eyes too. ($98 for dinner set)Cheesy fried chicken- I probably like this the most. 今次係我第3次幫襯，但係最後一次！本來我覺得海鮮都不錯，第一次食好新鮮，鮑魚會動，海鮮都鮮甜，第二次食系上年，而沒那麼新鮮但有些海鮮都還甜甜地，OK嘅，但今次雖然加了$40價但就又差咗，鮑魚不會動了也沒什麼味，只有蝦和偏蟶比較鮮甜，其他只有很鹹的海水味。朋友說魚片很腥，白硯不知道為什麼會有水泡，味道中尚就算了，但最最最不能接受的是有曱甴!!!埋單時跟waiter講，他說是有時會有小昆蟲的了，不好意思，態度不非常敷衍，又不正視問題，好像認為餐廳有曱甴是自然現象！😡這麼多這樣態度的waiter怪不得香港飲食業每況愈下！附上曱甴圖證明…查看更多

All dishes were good, especially love the gnocchi, got a really nice chewy and soft texture, and well absorbed the herbs and sauce into each piece. Pizza dough was awesome with both a chewy yet crispy texture. Could taste the herb on pizza dough itself too. Seafood risotto’s seafood was all so soft, and the sauce was flavorful. The restaurant was so nice to treat us dessert platter and champagne. Tiramisu roll was really great, soft and melting in the mouth! I always wanna try a egg toast box, and got tempted by this small cafe at Cheung Chau. The cafe’s business was 🔥, queued for sometime to get our seat indoor, but the waitress was so nice to give us iced water while waiting in this hot weather.I got a soft shell crab, egg and mozzarella toast. However the toast was quite disappointing. First of all, the toast wasn’t crispy and hard to cut at the bottom; secondly they pour too much mustard sauce all over the toast that sourness is the only thing I could tastes. However the cheese powder on top of the salad side dish that wasn’t polluted by the mustard cause shows the cafe is at least using a good cheese. Flat white is normal but to the milder side and not much aroma. Also, after ordering our food, we had to wait for an hour for the food to come 😫 when we chased our order after 45min, we were only given an answer that they need to prepare the dish one by one (but which restaurant isn’t?). The tasting menu set on Openrice was pretty nice deal , with 2 appetizers, 3 type of meat dish (we had Japanese A4 waygu, Iberia pork slice and beef slices); other 3 selections of hot pot items (we picked salty egg yolk pork pie, pepper beef paste and fried bean curb roll (with seaweed inside). Also comes with a basket of veggies and mushroom, duck blood pudding, tofu, noodles and a drink. All the hot pot ingredients are pretty high quality, especially the waygu and beef slice. For soup base we had Sichuan mala waygu butter soup and also chicken soup, both are nice but not too special- although it’s cute to put the butter with restaurant logo printed on it into the mala pot. Quite excited today to check out the 2022 top 50 pizza World and Asia award winner in Hong Kong, but only to find it overrated. We got Diavola, prosciutto di Parma, tramonto sul mare and this interesting pizza with potato, bacon pieces, chili and basil on it. I think the cheese they use was quite rich, except that the pizza dough weren’t crispy enough, which is a major crime! For Parma and diavola, I’d prefer those with more Parma/ Italian sausages but they got like 1 slice for every piece of pizza only 😅Tiramisu was quite good, with coffee and wine flavored quite stood out, which balanced the heaviness of the cream. Compared to when it just opened, if has more noodle topping options now, and the toppings taste better than before. 牛肋肉 and 黑松露餃are quite nice, other toppings I have tried are curry fish ball, chicken wings- both ok. 豬軟骨taste ok and not fat but the bones are not soft enough. I like the soup variety- they have 麻辣, curry, Satay too. I’ve tried the first 2 quite nice, but don’t get 清湯, quite tasteless. I bought groupon for 2 lunch set and ordered Kimchi fried rice and seafood noodle soup. The food was soso (ok for the group ok price $55 per set but definitely not worth the regular menu price, which is at least $100-200) The service was extremely poor, the waitress turned black face and impatient when we told her we were using groupon. We asked a few things about the set, and she answered in an impatient and rude manner. At the end of the order, she snatched away all the menu, I was asking to leave the main menu planning to order a regular price seafood pancake, she just paused a bit, said she will give the menu later, then continue snatching the main menu away. She never give me the main menu afterwards. Due to the bad service, I didn't bother to order another food item here. I came in at 12:30 on 3/18. I was amazed at how slow did they serve noodles given that they had 3 people standing at the noodle bar and all the side dishes were ready that only scoping to the bowls were needed.
