When I went into the cafe , I requested for a cooler corner as the weather outside was 37 degrees . I wanted to have a quiet lunch and some cold drinks to cool myself down while washing my car next door . I was placed at the bar area but the doors were right open and hot air was gushing towards me . I requested for the staff to close the door for me as it’s really unbearable . Food was below average . Service was alright . I came here because of my Singapore one degree club member . We could access 12 times a year . To pay a million to enjoy the facilities here ? I think it’s not worth . Compared to GTA , GTA will be a better choice for sure . Steam rice was not bad actually . Could try to order if you are here for dim sum . Food was good . Very local kind of dishes . Unfortunately, service was quite disappointing. We haven’t even finish the food and the just throw the dirty dishes on top of it and kept it away . My friend and I went over to kura for dinner on Wednesday 17th June 2020 .Everything was perfect till they serve sushi . There were 2 pieces that taste like hand soap . I asked the chef to check on it and they took it in and change . Before ordering omakase , they did asked me if I was allergic to anything . Mushroom was one of the food that I’m allergy to and I did ask them to remove all mushroom in the course . They still served me mushroom despite telling them my allergies . Was rather disappointed . I was looking forward to have a mini birthday celebration . The food served was very average and I think my helper at home can cook even better than the chef . The fish texture is pretty raw and tasteless . The duck for main course was fed cooked and the combination of the sides and sauces taste so bad . The best was only the starter . Not worth my time and tummy space . Will not go back there again . Huge disappointment. We did feed back to the staff about the poorly cooked food . Hopefully they will make improvement . I’m a Singaporean who lives in HK . Was delighted that chatterbox opened in K11 and I’ve always wanted to try out Singapore local food in HK. I ordered a laksa , otah and a Chao kuey tiao this round . I would say , the laksa is tasteless , otah taste like flour no fish taste . The keuy tiao was alright but not fantastic .
